Great brunch! Service, food delivery and prep, and atmosphere was exceptional!
Old early 1900s building remodeled very nicely. Cozy but not stuffy!

Worst service we've had in Pittsburgh in years.

My family recently held a wake in the event room at Cornerstone. The room was spacious, attractive, and comfortable. Loved the old tin ceiling. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The restaurant modified recipes and presentation to accommodate food restrictions. The icing on the (cup)cake was the waitstaff, who were attentive without being overbearing, efficient, and more than pleasant. Highly recommend.

Vegetarian options: Our buffet menu included vegetarian pasta, salad, green beans with shallots, roasted fingerling potatoes, and bread and butter. The restaurant menu provides several veggie options, including a veggie burger and veggie omelets.

Dietary restrictions: Accommodations were made for dairy, carrot, and nut allergies, as well as gluten restrictions. The whole family was able to eat delicious food safely.

Kid-friendliness: They made one young guest buttered noodles when the buffet options were not to his 5 year old taste.

Had the unfortunate experience of dining at the Cornerstone. The waitstaff was rude. The food lukewarm and over priced. If you question ingredients in entree you are answered in condescending tone. This restaurant is in Aspinwall not NYC. If you want single checks 30% charge. Bring cash if you don't want to pay the 3% credit card charge where the cost of doing business is passed onto the consumer. No parking. I believe only locals who are close would dine here.

Food is excellent - we came here multiple times and never were disappointed. Nice seating both inside and outside.

For that price class, service is a bit lacking. You can get better even without leaving Aspinwall - for example at Altavia.

Cornerstone is one of best restaurants in Pittsburgh. It's neatly tucked away in Aspinwall so many are not familiar. The food is delicious, cocktails are great...all around fantastic meal every time I go.

Lovely place to eat. Love the wine selection. Service was phenomenal but found the salad dinner entree selections lacking quantity and quality. Chicken was good, but I only a few of the other items on the Classic Cornerstone Salad, like toasted walnut, blue cheese, etc. Just seems as if it was lettuce and chicken

Delicious steak salad, great dressing. Ate on the patio which was extremely noisy with traffic on Freeport Rd. Next time will be indoors

Asian Crunch salad was very disappointing The star of the dish was to be the coconut shrimp. Not only was there no hint of coconut but they were overcooked and chewy and dry. The salad dressing was bland and flavorless Sweet potato fries were cold, limp and dry

We had a very enjoyable dinner at Cornerstone. The scallops entry was very good. The burgers were also excellent. Great selection of beer and wine as well as a full bar. Service was perfect. Looking forward to going back.

Having dinner with a friend in a wheelchair presents challenges! The Cornerstone team could not have been kinder and gentler!! Our table location was perfect to accommodate our friend!!

My friend and I have frequented this establishment together for 7 years now. I always get the Cornerstone Scramble. Over the years the quality of this meal has gone down greatly. There was barely any lamb, feta, or sun-dried tomatoes in the scramble. We had to get a new order of home fries because 1/2 were cooked and half were not cooked and crunchy in the middle. Not only has the quality gone down but the price has increased over the years. While I understand inflation, this is just bad business. The service was fine and the atmosphere is great. Very sad to report the bad food quality.
