Coolest place to visit for 60's vibe

This place is advertised as pet friendly- we had our dog there over weekend - and he peed on the shrubbery when he got out of car . - owner made a spectacle of us- screaming - in front of other patrons- and mind you, I did apologize- (he ignored me- acted like I wasn’t there) ….. he then proceeded to exclaim that his plants are expensive - pulled hose out and watered the plant off for a good 5 minutes. Made us feel very uncomfortable/unwelcome. I would never give this place another dime of my money. If owner HATES dogs- he shouldn’t advertise as being “pet friendly”.

Can't answer the phone or return emails. Terrible customer service.

I recently visited Long Trout Winery as I participated in a book signing event and wow was I impressed! It's a hidden gem with many great wines and the design is a blast from the past! The one that captured my interest was the veggie wine Old One Eye. Never heard of a veggie wine before and hearing all the ingredients made me a little apprehensive, but I couldn't leave without having a sample. It was surprisingly good! I actually left with a bottle of it and a few others. Usually I'm disappointed when I open the bottles at home, but every single wine I bought that day was delicious! No disappointments at all. I'm definitely going to be a returning customer!

First time here.... Had a wonderful time trying the various wines, checking out all the eclectic memorabilia and taking in the breathtaking sites. Can't wait to return.

We love this winery. With the given nickname The Hippie Winery the fruit and chocolate wines are excellent. Wines for all tastes. Enjoy the decor and friendly service.

We stayed not too far away from here and had to check it out. The staff were very nice and the area was gorgeous. Would highly recommend this place to anyone !!!

This place is a hidden gem. Easily the funkiest and most fun winery I've ever been to. That also acts as (mainly) a pseudo Beatles museum. They make a large number of wines out of all types of fruits and things you wouldn't expect or ever had. Most of them very good as well to my palette. Can sit outside and relax in a relaxing atmosphere. One of a kind.

Very wooded with tight lines… some holes didn’t have a line

They are always pleasant there. The wine has the most unusual names & it's really funny. It's a pleasant atmosphere no matter how busy it is.

Consistently cool place to visit year-round.

This course is a wooded course. Expect to hit trees because the lines are very tight. Several of the hole do not have much of a line. Some trees should be taken out. If some TLC and Elbow grease went into this, it could be a top notch course for a wooded one. Hole 17 has a mando and is the most open shot. The tees vary from small stone, wooded (like a deck which gets very slippery in the wet/dewy conditions), and one concrete tee. Don’t expect to get a super good score here, but come to enjoy the woods. Not Cary friendly so leave that behind. Baskets should be pained a bright color to be able to find them from the tees looking through the woods. If they clean this up and take a few trees down, I will give it a 5 star rating for a wooded course. (I’ve played over 65 courses).
