Enjoy the atmosphere and menu at the Tavern. We had catering at the Sons in September, the roast beef with stuffing balls and cheese ravioli were excellent, the chicken was tender. So much food thanks so much.

I order the tomahawk steak dinner. For $100. I thought it would be a really good steak. First off the steak was OK. They serve their steaks on these cast-iron plates that are scorching hot. When they bring out the steak it’s popping and cracking. I begin eating the steak. It was OK I like it rare. However, because of the plate being so hot after halfway through the steak, the bottom side, touching the plate was burnt. It was disgusting and almost uneditable. I believe it was one of the owners come over and ask me how my dinner was. I told them. They just kind of said oh well and walked away.

This is a small place bar atmosphere. They have outdoor seating. Very inexpensive. The service was great. The food not so much. We had wings they were ok and they did adjust my sauce for me but the other appetizers we got were not good. Its up to what you like. We won’t go back.

This is a small place bar atmosphere. They have outdoor seating. Very inexpensive. The service was great. The food not so much. We had wings they were ok and they did adjust my sauce for me but the other appetizers we got were not good. Its up to what you like. We won’t go back.

Based on the numerous positive reviews, we decided to stop here for lunch. The deep-fried pepper rings were outstanding. My chicken quesadilla was somewhat of a letdown, as the chicken, although tender, seemed to lack seasoning. According to my husband, the Texas jumbo dog was very filling, but unfortunately, his fries had cooled off by the time they were served. The dining area is small, with tables in close proximity and only one server. The service was friendly, but due to the number of patrons, the food took longer than anticipated to arrive. If you are pressed for time, it is best to avoid this establishment.

Small town bar/restaurant with excellent food. I ordered a ribeye on the hot lava stone. It was delicious 😋.

Walked in and it was packed. Thankfully, a spot opened up at the bar so we were able to stay. Absolutely wonderful service and food. We will be back soon!
