Horrible horrible horrible! Worst experience ever. A fight broke out while we were eating, it was so intense that we had to leave the restaurant out of fear that we would get hurt. When we came back in, it was as if nothing happened, no acknowledgment or apologies, like just another day. Just terrible. Never returning here again!

I went here tonight with a few friends for a birthday celebration. Ten minutes before our reservation they called saying their heat broke two hours prior and asked us not to come, however we were five minutes away and they willingly gave us free tea when we asked. Our reservation was for 8 P.M., they rushed us to order by 8:10 because they close at 9, even telling us to call our friend who was five minutes away so that they can start their order. (If they're in such a rush, don't accept an 8pm reservation.)Then while we were waiting for our food, a fight between two workers broke out in the kitchen. We heard intense screaming and plates breaking. Ourselves and another couple had to walk out because we were nervous that things would escalate even further. Once things calmed down, we went back in, and there was no acknowledgment or apology about what happened. At this point, they should've been offering us a discount (if not a free meal). Not just did they NOT offer us a discount, but we had a ten percent voucher from one of the local schools. They called the owner who refused to accept the voucher stating that "we can't accept this," really? You couldn't give us the ten bucks after we literally had to temporarily leave your restaurant because of how intense a fight between your staff in the kitchen got?Needless to say we will not be returning to this establishment.

I'm sorry to say that we had a rotten evening at Citron and Rose. We went to celebrate a family event, and the restaurant was freezing inside. No wonder the restaurant was almost empty. (The one table that had had a family there remained messy the entire time were there without anyone bussing it.) My fingertips were freezing. It took a long time for our food to come out, and then the fries that came with a brisket sandwich were cold. My wife said it was because the restaurant was so cold. I wanted to tell the waitress, but it took her a long time for us just to see her, let alone have her ask how the food was. By then, I just wanted to bentsh and get out of there. None of the other dishes were hot, either. If you pay 30 dollars for a plate, you should at least expect the food to be hot, even if the restaurant is not.
My husband and I came to celebrate our anniversary here, and we'll definitely be returning. The braised short ribs and demonico steak were amazing! Cooked perfectly! I also could have made a meal just out of the cheesesteak egg rolls. This restaurant is perfect for a nice date night, or special occasions. Definitely recommend when looking for a classy fleishig restaurant in greater Philadelphia area.

Staff is very friendly. Cobb salad had duck bacon - never had that before, but I certainly will again. The manager suggested Clyde Mays Straight Bourbon Whiskey, which was a real treat. Will certainly dine here again when I am in Philly.

Just had an amazing meal at Citron and Rose! The steak was cooked to perfection - juicy, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was spot on.

I split the brisket appetizer and half smoked chicken with someone who doesn't keep kosher. I loved it! My friend loved it also. Normally, they hate kosher restaurants, so this is very high praise.
