“Flavorful, delicious, enough food for two people, and healthy. Cash only, $20. No substitutions, no menu, no cutlery, no plastic bags, no water, no napkins, long wait in line, and just one food item to choose from--whatever he's cooking that day. It's the most amazing mediterranean street food you'll have in Philly.“

“I ordered a fried eggplant sandwich in pita. All ingredients were fresh and tasted great. The prices weem lower than when it opned. The sandwich was $9, this was just they second time I went since they opened / reopend. The place is very clean and the staff was amazingly friendly. They made the sandwich right in front of me asked whether or not I wanted each condiment before puttung it in. I got exactly what I wanted. I will be back.“

“Goldie is a true gem! I've had the pleasure of trying their creative menu, and I'm hooked. The hummus is creamy and flavorful, with just the right amount of tanginess. It's clear they use only the freshest ingredients.
But the real showstopper is the tahini milkshake - yes, you read that right! It's a game-changer. Rich, velvety, and utterly unique, it's a must-try for anyone looking to mix up their dessert routine.
The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with friendly staff to boot. Whether you're in the mood for a quick snack or a leisurely meal, Goldie is a great choice. Can't wait to come back and try more of their innovative dishes!
Vegetarian options: I would consider hummus as one of the best vegetarian dishes you can have ?
Parking: I never drove here, but it seems like the parking would be a little bit tough.
Kid-friendliness: Very friendly for kids!
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, it is accessible for wheelchair!“

“Excellent! Previous customer but I moved out of the area. Stopped in today and I now require totally gluten free meal and I did indeed receive that and the food was as a great as ever. Ordered chicken skewer platters with side of dolmades & comes with greek salad & choice of sauce. I always chose tzazeki, greek yogurt sauce. Everything fresh, spectacular! About $20/ platter but we ordered 3 skewers. Like my Dad always told me "the freshest food is usually expensive. That's why it's so good." I forgot to mention how polite and pleasant the employees were❤️ 5 Stars for the wonderful employees who waited on me; very nice and personable.“

“Recently visited Al Dar, the ambience is very good reminds me of old middle eastern architecture. The food was amazing, the moutabbel dip, which is a blend of tahini and eggplant was just the right amount of creamy and smoky. The kebabs were tender and had amazing flavor. Will come again“
