This restaurant provides excellent, traditional Italian food. We ordered a 3 course menu. The main dishes were black spaghetti with calamari and shrimp. Terrific. I had 3 blue point oysters that were excellent, very fresh. The tiramisu was light and not too sweet. The cheese cake also was very light and clearly home made. Excellent meal and a very enjoyable evening.

La Collina is the best Italian restaurant I have dined in the Philadelphia area, whether it's luncheon or diner . Always an experience, and I have been going there with friends for the last 30 years .

Overall a positive experience, this was our first time at La Collina and we were celebrating an anniversary. We were seated with a decent view, but it was very loud in the room. Service was excellent, and the food was decent. The valet parking attendant did an excellent job.

The food was very good, not great when compared with other similar level of restaurants. The table service was a little cold and lacking in energy. The waiter lacked engagement as regards answering questions about the menu. Neither were we asked about the wine but had to ask after we received our entrees. Again we received vague answers to our questions about paring what wine with the entrees. Overall the experience was good but not great.

Our evening at La Collina was nothing short of outstanding. The osso buco was exquisitely prepared — tender, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. Paired with a superb bottle of Barolo, the harmony of flavors created a truly memorable dining experience. The ambiance was refined yet inviting, offering an ideal setting for a special evening. Service was impeccable throughout: attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming without ever being intrusive.La Collina demonstrates an impressive commitment to excellence in both cuisine and hospitality. It is a restaurant we will certainly return to and one I recommend without hesitation.

Excellent dining experience. The food was superb, particularly the Dover sole and veal dishes. Service was professional and attentive, and the ambiance elegant without being overly formal. A refined choice for special occasions or business dinners.

We started with the burrata and it was perfectly creamy, served with fresh tomatoes and a drizzle of balsamic. For our mains, the pasta was clearly homemade—al dente and full of flavor. The seafood linguine was a standout, and the truffle risotto was rich and indulgent without being heavy. Don't skip dessert—the tiramisu was one of the best I've ever had.

Ordered veal picante. Terrible. Lots of gristle. Very tough. Unable to finish dish. Will never go back. A waste of money

We had not dined at La Collina in years and remembered it as being very good. However it has since been taken over by a group that owns several restaurants at the Jersey shore. We were a party of two couples and the restaurant would not issue separate checks. There was a surcharge if you requested a substitution for a side which came with the entree plus there is a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. I ordered an appetizer of calamari-it was not crisp and was like chewing on rubber bands. My husband had a mushroom risotto-some of the mushrooms were like shoe leather. I had broccoli rabe as a side-it was full of stems and very tough to chew. Needless to say we will not be returning although the restaurant was packed when we left.

DInner was delicious. I had the chicken Parmesan and a Caesar salad. My friend had the special flounder Francaise which she said was wonderful. The restaurant was super accommodating when it came to my friend's food allergies. They found her a dish she could eat...they actually tailored it to her. The service was terrific as usual.

This place feels like a little slice of Italy. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I had the veal saltimbocca, and it was cooked to perfection. The wine list was impressive and reasonably priced. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommend!

We celebrated our anniversary at La Collina and couldn’t have chosen a better spot. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the food was simply excellent. The burrata starter was creamy and fresh, and the seafood risotto was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the tiramisu for dessert — it's heavenly!

La Collina never disappoints! I’ve been here several times, and the quality is consistently amazing. Their wine list is impressive and pairs wonderfully with the menu. A must-visit if you love authentic Italian cuisine.
