I have seen this restaurant on the hill for years. From the highway, it looks like a place with a great view of the Schuylkill River. I decided to try it out and booked a reservation on OpenTable for lunch. When I arrived, I was surprised to see that the parking lot was empty. La Collina provided a very enjoyable evening for my family and me. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. Ambience is important to me and La Collina did not disappoint. Our chairs were very comfortable, and the room temperature was perfect. The valet attendant had our car warm for us on this chilly night when we were ready to leave. Thank you, La Collina staff.
This restaurant provides excellent, traditional Italian food. We ordered a 3 course menu. The main dishes were black spaghetti with calamari and shrimp. Terrific. I had 3 blue point oysters that were excellent, very fresh. The tiramisu was light and not too sweet. The cheese cake also was very light and clearly home made. Excellent meal and a very enjoyable evening.
