Enjoyed MakiSan… but since the name changed to MakiHan the service and food has too. When picking up my order I was informed the they ran out of brown rice. The cashier asked if I wanted change back. Seriously?I purchased shrimp fried rice and the rice was stale( reheated). Dissatisfied and disappointed.

Nice place, the interior of the restaurant gave us good asian vibes, we saw a group book the special corner for a personal hibachi party, that looked really awesome. But food was not up to the mark except the Sushi. The Pad Thai was almost sweet and the Chicken-corn soup was very blunt. The service was okay.

Been here several times and staff is friendly. They do charge gratuity if there is more than a party of 5. We always get sushi for appetizers and hibachi for dinner. My daughter loves the performance and enjoys her shrimp lo mein. Will always pick this spot for hibachi.

Maki-San).All the food is always amazing!Homemade quality food for unbeatable prices.Can't recommend enough!!Vegetarian options: Highly recommend the bean curd home style. Great miso. Order the vegetable/vegetarian wonton soup (off menu & delicious). The crispy noodles with duck sauce are a must have if you can tolerate fried noodles. The vegetable sushi options are all extremely good. Steamed vegetable dumplings are superb.Dietary restrictions: A very good spot for vegetarians and vegans.Allergy Info:Heads up — there is peanut butter in the egg rolls & veggie lol mein.Definitely ask questions about allergens and be diligent.Kid-friendliness: Hibachi! The name in the front is Maki Han now but, unfortunately, the quality is still consistently poor. The egg roll was cold and had obviously been refried or had been sitting under heat lamps all day. The Mei Fun was plentiful but tasteless. Noodles and salt. Since it's nearby I try this place a couple of times a year hoping it's improved. I've thrown away enough money. Never again.

I ordered my food online and went to pick it up. (Like I always do) While waiting a man brought food back telling the hostess he received the wrong order. The bag was open. She took the order back from him and gave him the correct food. She then asks for my name, tells me my total and picks up the bag the man just returned. I ask, “this returned food is my order ?” She said yes. I said “you want me to pay for this food someone opened and brought back ?” She said yes. I told her to have a nice day and walked out. Very disappointed. They shouldn’t have never offered me food that someone brought back and at the very least offered to make me a fresh meal. I know mistakes happen but expecting someone to be ok with someone else touching and opening their food is pretty crazy to me.
