Truly the best and I've eaten many cheesesteaks. The steak itself is shaved thin and like butter when you bite through. The cheese blend is fantastic. The rolls are soft and fresh. Hours are limited but it's worth waiting for...
I lived in Philly 45 years ago, and this place spoiled me for life. I haven't had a truly great cheesesteak since the ones we got at Mama's the two years we lived there! Glad to see the tradition lives on!
I've been eating from here since 2004. The quality cheesesteak is still really good. The biggest complaint is they don't allow you to pick your cheese anymore. They instead give you their house cheese blend, which is horrible to me. I like good ole american cheese on my cheesesteak. If I'm paying, i should be able to choose, in my opinion.
