I am a really old guy, and this is THE best deli in the history of the world. Everything that Judy makes is delicious and she has a sparkling personality! We try to make the trip down there every year.
Moved to the area not too long ago. Hands down some of the nicest people you'll meet.. Always a small town warm welcome. The owner truly invested in the customer. Realizes the relationship with the community and repeat business. Food is just as quality as the staff. Everything is homemade. If you want to impress a visiting family member to a hometown feel and fantastic lunch. RTE. 40 deli is a one stop shop for a sandwich and memories made..

Amazing fresh food and amazing employees who truly care about the customers' needs. Not to mention even after hours when we were stranded at the bottom of the hill with no cell service!! You folks represent 💯!!! On and off the clock!! How many people can say that about a place of business?? These folks make their business by making people their business.

RT. 40 Deli offers a fine selection of sandwiches and soups, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. The Italian Stallion hoagie and meatball and cheese hoagie are some of the best around, and the cream of mushroom soup is delicious. Everything is homemade, with friendly service and a small-town warm welcome. The owner truly cares about the community and repeat business. Prices are comparable to other delis, but the quick turnover ensures freshness. Delicious sides, including amazing chocolate cake, make it a great spot for a meal, catering event, or just a fantastic lunch with a hometown feel.
