Amazing experience. James has a welcoming disposition and balances space and attentiveness so well to provide an excellent atmosphere. The food is prepared and presented with excellence. I had the garlic spinach and sirloin filet which is a cut I never heard of but will definitely have again. My wife had the salmon with root vegetables. They also have a full bar menu as well. Everything about this place made for a perfect date night.

After falling on to this place after a first choice was closed, we were starving when reviewing the brunch menu and having one of those awkward moments of sticker shock. Confused as to what the brunch included with differing prices from$31- $44? We were told no toast or potatoes were included with egg dishes but included a mixed buffet in the adjoining room. Curious, we viewed the options which were, fruits, cheeses, cold shrimp, smoked salmon, 2 salads and a variety of sweets. I believe the shrimp drew me in. Disappointed to have to eat my smoked salmon without some sort of bread or even cream cheese. I was told to use a cracker. The prepared items were tasty. The sweets did not look made in house.The owner was very friendly, decor lackluster. Basically we made the best of a bad choice and tried to enjoy what we could. After reviewing the experience throughout the day, I truly felt taken advantage of. I am familiar with wholesale food pricing and the increases but, this went above and beyond for cost to value. Bedford Springs yes $$$ here...no.

Wow….. dined there for the first time today and is now our favorite restaurant in Bedford. Food is amazing and the owner is very nice and visits each table personally, a nice touch.

We stumbled upon the 10/09 Kitchen looking for lunch during an anniversary trip to the area. The quality and taste of the food (Nick's crab cake sandwich) was outstanding! The truffle fries sinfully delicious. We were surprised by the volume of take-out customers for a mid-week afternoon, but it's clear they come back often for the good food and super friendly staff.

Over the top great! Staff was super helpful and friendly. My wife declared it the best butternut squash bisque (gf,v) she has ever tasted (I agree). The sandwiches were incredible- we got the Pitt Street and the Clark - the focaccia bread made them come together. Everything is house made including the side pickles! Definitely will be back - probably will plan a stop on all turnpike trips.

Was in town for business and found this place via the reviews on Yelp. I have to agree with everyone else and say that this is definitely a place to visit if in Bedford. I dined alone and chose the pistachio crusted salmon as my entree. It was excellent!!! The creamy wild rice was excellent and I wish I would have ordered a dish to go. It was THAT good! One of the best meals I've had in awhile! Service was good except for the fact that my waitress neglected to advise me about the specials of the day. I overheard another waitress telling a table and had I known they had shrimp bisque I would have added that to my dinner.... Oh well! Added the Bundt cake with blueberry compote to go but could have done without it. It was pretty from a presentation and look perspective (even to go) but the cake was dry and it lacked richness and flavor. All in all I would definitely go back if in the area. I did overhear that they were closing for dinner service in October which is a shame as they were very busy when I went which was on a Tuesday night. That should tell you something!

This family home establishment has amazing food - freshest ingredient prepared to perfection. The service matches the food. The owner made her rounds to make sure that all was just right. Like eating gourmet food in Grandma's kitchen. A must when you are in the area.

Shockingly good food for SW PA! We were staying at the Jean Bonnet tavern and wanted to try something different, and this didn't disappoint. It was probably the best for I've had since we moved to PA from NYC earlier this year. That said, I did feel like the ambiance was trying a little too hard, and it came off as cold and snooty. I've been to celebrity chef restaurants that felt more warm and welcoming.

Throw in a great conversation with the owners and staff. Overall 5 star visit. Any time I’m traveling the turnpike I’m making Bedford and 10/09 my break point. Thank you.
We had a wonderful meal served by very pleasant, friendly individuals in a timely manner yet did not feel rushed. The entrees were plentiful and delicious. The appetizers showed imagination and made your taste buds dance. It was an enjoyable way to spend our evening in Bedford PA.

Amazing food and amazing service. I called to make a reservation because it's highly recommended. I was told they were booked but i should still stop by and perhaps something may be available. I did, and we were seated right away and it may have been the best seat in the house. The food was served quickly and it was amazing. I definitely recommend trying this place out.
