“Our first experience at the Frontier Tavern at the Omni Bedford Springs. The food was excellent. We had the short rib and my wife had the hangar steak. Both dishes were prepared perfectly and the taste was great.
I want to express a very special shout out and thank you to two special servers. Our usual favorite, Emily, wasn’t working but she made sure we were taken care of by our extra special server Bethany. She was very attentive and made sure our dining experience was a special one since it was our anniversary. My wife and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Looking forward to seeing you again.”

“been here twice and had two of the best meals ive ever had. the chicken sandwich cleared any ive had by a mile my only complaint or suggestion would be it needs a brioche bun because the chicken is fantastic, also the Nashville is more bbq than cayenne but I get it people cant handle spice. the tomato bisque no complaints what so ever and the short rib stroganoff 10/10 no notes.”

“We were treated to a fantastic dinner starting with some amazing fried artichoke, sundried tomatoes wrapped in eggplant, and grilled olives stuffed with capers. We were lucky to be seated next to the producers of Agnoni who make the eggplant, tomatoes and olives. It was a great experience and we can't wait to go again.”

“Ate here in August 2026 on the way to the Lancaster area in Pennsylvania. It reminded me of Ponderosa Steakhouse. The dinners included the salad bar, or the salad bar was an add-on. There were a few hot items on the salad bar, such as soup and baked beans, but not like they used to have when we ate at one of these in 2009. There were a lot more hot items then. The salad bar and desserts were good though.

However, it was a little pricey. Dinners were mostly over $20, that included the salad bar. Other items, such as sandwiches could add on the salad bar, making it a little less. This stuck out to us the most when we visited the largest buffet in the USA, near Lancaster, PA. That had much more to choose from. The total bill for 2 adults was about $10 less there than what we paid at Hoss's. Why? Hoss's did not include the drink or tip. The buffet did include the drink and tip, and was still a little less than some of the dinners at Hoss's.

I still recommend Hoss's if you are up for a salad bar, and not close to the Lancaster area, as salad bars and buffets are becoming more rare these days.”

“I must acknowledge the staff! We were there late afternoon on Sunday May 24 and the group of young adults working there exceeded my expectations. Their dedication to customer service and the blessing of going above and beyond for a customer will not be forgot. Their kindness must be recognized! Of course it was topped off by great tasting ice cream! The upside down banana split and the strawberry cheese cake flurry were delicious.”

“This is my second visit to Stooges, and they don't disappoint! I was looking for a keto friendly meal after a mountain bike ride, so I ordered a chef salad, which was not only incredible tasting, but HUGE!
As you can see it the picture, the ingredients were high quality from the ham all the way to the olives and the smoked gouda. They even asked me what kind of cheese I wanted on it. The wings are also great. Get the garlic cheese bites... They won't disappoint!
Friendly staff, and nice patio atmosphere is tough to beat.”

“Excellent Coffee at the Springs

I had a great experience at Evitt House Coffee. The location is extremely convenient, situated right on the Omni Bedford Springs Resort property, making it a perfect stop during a stay.

The staff was friendly and despite being a popular spot, the service was impressively quick. Both my coffee and bagel were served fresh, hot, and delicious.

I highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for a quality cup of joe and a quick, tasty bite!”

“Village News Restaurant and Pub is a nice local find for a quick, quality meal. There was no wait, and my food arrived promptly, with much of it clearly being made in-house.

It’s obviously a neighborhood staple, which is always a great sign; it’s the kind of place where you can count on the service being fast, the food being fresh, and the prices staying affordable. Definitely worth a stop!”

“We love to stop in to get subs at this Subway on Business 220 in Bedford. The ladies do a fantastic job making our subs. The subs are delicious! Everything is fresh. The Steak and Cheese sub and Spicy Italian sub are excellent. Just tried the brand new #7 MexiCali sub. It’s a must try if you like to try new subs on the menu. Everything looks very clean. Quick service. Always patiently waiting on us to decide. Service is always good.”
