“On a road trip, my family stopped here, and it was a hopping little sub shop. The employees were very nice and the food was yummy. I actually wasn't even hungry, yet the sub was so good I couldn't put it down! May have to make it our usual place to stop on road trips. One guy, we think he could have been the owner, even made sure he called out goodbye and told every customer, "appreciate you!" I liked he was very cheery, and, if not the owner, he must at least take pride in his job (he was making sandwiches and trying to make sure tables got wiped down for the next customer) highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: They had a small kids menu and high chairs. Also, easy access to the bathroom”

“Good rest stop right before the I70 West to Pittsburgh. Quick efficient service. Two fairly clean wheelchair neutral gender bathrooms are available. Decent sized parking lot that is not too crowded. There’s a Shell and Sunoco gas station in the area as well as a few other good choices.”

“The most delicious and wholesome food option in this tiny town of 180 people is also pretty great on its own. Highly recommend the lamb kabob over rice.The salad is fresh and the roast meats have a great smoky flavor. The beef is a bit chewy but the portions are generous. The soup is hot, fresh and delicious. Plentiful parking; the drive thru was not operational when I went.Highly recommend!”

“When we stopped by at this McDonald’s DriveThru, they quickly finished the order perfectly without any mistakes and also complied with our customization on everything. Even though at the payment section they told us that they can’t serve us the McFlurry during breakfast, they instantly gave us more options for dessert (that they gave us a discount for because they didn’t tell us when we were ordering) and quickly gave us the refund for the McFlurry. Great service and problem solving. I would recommend if you are taking a road trip in the area.”

“Inside a Travel plaza, had short lines and quick service. Happy they even offer dairy free options for me. Scoop was plentiful, what more can I say, good ice cream, nice staff, quick transaction. Bathrooms and other stores nearby to get a meal after your dessert. Was there around 8pm on a Sunday and it was open”

“Someone said in the reviews that the steak and cheese was the worst..... well you haven't had all steak and cheese subs then! This is about the only place I'll eat a steak and cheese sub! And it's not on a hot dog roll. That's false. It's on a steak roll.This sandwich is loaded with cheese! The steak isn't full of nasty gristle like other places. This is me and my guy friend's "go- to" when we come here..... or the sloppy joe.As a business owner, I understand it's hard to compete, especially with chain restaurants, when it comes to pricing. I'd rather spend a little bit extra to give to a mom and pop any day than to support some nasty McDonald's.Portions are great here. You'll leave stuffed. But don't skip dessert. I had a turtle Carmel sunde with candied pecans. Delicious. 16oz cup packed tight. And the whipped cream was very good. Thick actually tasted like real whipped cream. It blew my mind $ 5.50. Sure, you can go into Bedford Square or Everett proper for more commercial fast food options, but none of those places operate with a well seasoned grill like Brite Spot does.The staff here have always been super friendly and attentive. We come here to grab a bite to eat and to slow down. We’re mindful that there are only so many staff on hand manning the place.Most of their clientele seem to be workmen in the area. An excellent gauge as to how good the food is, when there is a steady stream of people picking up orders on their workday.There is a drive up window and outdoor and indoor seating. It is worth mentioning there are no public restrooms on the premises. I’m sure there is a bathroom for the staff, but with the inside area being so small, it would be a safety issue if customers were allowed to walk through the kitchen area to get to the bathroom.It’s a very tidy and neatly kept establishment. And a nice break from the hustle and bustle of town and traffic elsewhere. They should be called “The Sweet Spot.””
