This is another great stop for ice cream in the area. They also serve Ritchey’s ice cream products. It is no longer cash only and are now accepting cards.We love ice cream and the Penguin is worth a visit. Lot’s of choices here.

We were on our way home on the turnpike and decided to have an easy off/easy on rest break in Bedford. We stopped for ice cream at The Penguin since I had read online that they had vegan options. I was so happy to find not only did they have vegan ice cream made from oat milk, but that it wasn’t just vanilla but another flavor too. The oat ice cream was so good!
