My wife and I have eaten at A LOT of restaurants in a lot of different places and states. I kid you not, this was the best breakfast we have ever had at any restaurant. Also extremely clean.
The staff were nice, food was a little eh. Parking can be congested, but it is near the turnpike. Willing to go back and try something else there.
Got the breakfast burrito. đ
Dont let the scared of words on a coffee cup crowd steer you away from a great breakfast spot.
Great waitress. Very attentive and she was very nice.
Uninspired food even for a diner. We ordered burgers which were mediocre and not that hot. Try somewhere else.
Great meals and awesome prices! The stuffed chicken breast meal could easily be 3 meals for me.
Good food. Reasonable prices. Excellent wait staff
On a road trip to Indianapolis when we found this place right off the turnpike exit. Hubby ordered a club sandwich and I enjoyed a cheat day with the peanut butter chocolate chip pancakes and a side of crispy bacon. Food was hot and fresh however service was a bit slow, perhaps understaffed? Anyway reading the other reviews about the right wing theme made me look for evidence of the side of Jesus and there it was, a cross the size of a quarter hiding on the menu cover art along with our national bird and homage to the people who stand watch while the rest of us go about our day. After clutching my pearls and taking an excursion to the restroom, I remembered that every freaking turnpike restroom is also gendered, someone please alert the ACLU. Tolerance please, goid gravy y'all.
Sweet indy roadside diner with a very respectable and updated menu, excellent homestyle cooking, and wonderfully friendly service. Had a perfect sandwich and fries, but envied the table getting the fried fish special of the day -- it looked fresh and delicious! However, the overtly religious server tee-shirts and merchandise were...off-putting, mostly in that the quantity and quality of the messaging and artworks was so aggressive, which stood in contrast to the otherwise warm and cheerful vibe of the diner. It's certainly true that freedom of religious expression is a Constitutionally protected right, and one i wholeheartedly support. But the strong religious overtones here were confusing (Am i being recruited to serve Him? Because i just want a tuna melt.) and distracting (This is a restaurant, right? Not a church? Or maybe this IS a church, after hours?), so the intended experience of having a nice simple lunch on the road became instead an uneasy half hour of hurry-up-and-eat before someone asks if we've accepted the Lord Almighty. If you like good food and warm service with a hefty side of Jesus, this place is for you.

Stopped into this wonderful diner on our way back from Pittsburgh. As a business owner myself I first searched the reviews and was appalled at the two individuals that were butt hurt over a coffee mug and a few signs! Last I checked we have the right to freedom of speech and they have the right to leave if it offends them. To give a negative review to a business because they are drinking from a coffee cup with an American flag, angers me! Those ratings mean a lot to businesses.
Food was great and so was the atmosphere!
Loved this place! Stopped in on our way back from a road trip, and they had great prices, food, and atmosphere! They serve breakfast all day, which is amazing, and the food was so good! We had a pancake platter and corned beef has, eggs, rye bread, and hashbrowns. Definitely ask for the hashbrowns crispy, it transforms them!! We got a peanut butter graham pie to go and it looks amazing.
Regarding atmosphere, I absolutely loved it! Everyone was so sweet, and I loved seeing such support for our country and Christ. If youâre able to stop in and support either my having a great meal, or buying some merch, I def recommend it!
Just off the turnpike Bedford pa. Great place to eat anything anytime. Down home cooking iam telling you.
We had to leave after seeing the merch for sale at the front door. âWorking like crazy to support the lazyâ. And âI stand for the flag and kneel for the crossâ. (codified racism). Also- as we walked in a manager was loudly spouting foul language about coworkers. Toxic place that clearly embraces hate. I wonder what Jesus would do? Glad we didnât stay for the food!
Small portions, sticky table. i had to go to the bathroom and get a wet paper towel to clean the table myself. Waitress was good but seemed overworked and rushed.
