Absolutely LOVED this place!! It is so wonderful to walk into a small local place, not knowing what to expect, and be completely thrilled by everything. And to top it off, I have never had peach pie that was so delicious. My wife and I travel regularly between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, and we will be planning future trips to include a stop here.

Great little place to grab a bite to eat and feel like you're in a 30's restaurant. I heard some stories while I was inside the restaurant about how it use to be a hotel and a restaurant. I ate breakfast and got the Down Farm omelet and everything was delicious and the home fries were an amazing added bonus! Bacon was crisped to perfection! Will definitely be back for lunch! Kailyn was a great waitress and the rest of the staff was very helpful and courteous!

My husband and I really enjoyed our meals at The Birds Nest! The Tomato soup was really good, and the chocolate cake with PB icing was the BEST!!! The Strawberry Chicken Salad was also really good!!

We really enjoyed Bird's Nest Farm. We had soup and sandwiches for lunch. Food was great, prompt and our server was friendly and properly attentive. A little gem. We will back.

Lovely little café. Wonderful breakfast. The fruit cup is really good if you like that sort of thing. I'm more of a bacon & eggs sort of guy, but that's good too. I'd recommend the French Toast especially. Enjoy!

My friends and I shared a lovely breakfast here on a Sunday morning. The ambiance and attention to decoration are delightful! The only thing better than the farmhouse feel was the number of options on the menu. We each changed our minds multiple times! The prices were very reasonable and quality and presentation was wonderful. Save room for dessert as there are many tantalizing baked goods!

The wait is too long! And the blonde lady/server was extremely rude! There was extra seating available with tables, she told us she didn't know how to put two tables together, she seemed very racist and was very friendly to the other family but was very rude to us! Would not recommend this establishment if your passing thru, out of town! We found another great restaurant we highly recommend, The Golden Eagle Inn, great service and friendlier staff.

Loved this little eatery in Bedford. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast here after an overnight stay at Bedford Springs. Save yourself from an overpriced meal at the Resort and patronize the Bird's Nest instead. You'll thank me later. I'll definitely be back.
