During our journey from Baltimore to Pittsburgh, we decided to take a break at Hoss's Steak & Sea House. To my astonishment, my children, who previously showed little interest in salads, were thrilled with the salad bar's extensive variety. It's an ideal spot for travelers heading from the DMV area to Pittsburgh.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love this place. They serve icecream too. You can eat as much as you can with the salad bar option.

A large group of us got together to celebrate spring. We chose Hosses due to variety and value and good food. Due to the size of our group we made a reservation. Hostess couldn't have been any nicer and thorough.Is our waiter was great! He was good at what he did, happy to be there and had a great personality. We had a wonderful time.

This food is perfect! For dogs because half of the time it’s served raw :D ( we came in on February 17th 2024 ( so yk who runs kitchen) I asked for the flat ironed steak came out practically mooing and my families dinner was also raw (and bleeding ) I know they have a temp checker not sure if they’re smart enough to use it or what and I figure this isn’t the fist time ether they took it back and said they were gonna get us all new they brought it back and it was the same, wasn’t even cooked the whole way I could only eat half yk because it wasn’t even done the whole way ) please tell you chef to step up or get more classes you could tell they don’t know how to cook not to mention I said well done burn it if you have to ( I think that went in one ear and came out the other) the photo is the second time around still raw only good for dogs. Go to other places but this one. Hoss’s step up please do yourself a favor and fire that chef. Xo ? also if this applies to you reviews are free!

We will never eat at the hoss’s again in Bedford,Pa. Ordered the flat iron steak with mushrooms medium well- came out mooing (rare). My husband sent it back and they said they would give us a new one done medium well- came back with the same steak still rare!! No mushrooms with either order- he ordered the flat iron, I ordered tips well done. And didn’t have the onions papers and gravy I ordered with the tips also. Worst experience going out to eat we have ever had. We usually go to Duncansville hoss’s- but decided to go to Bedford- never again!!!! We will go to Duncansville from now on!! Never had a problem at Duncansville!!!
