Suzanne was the most considerate server. The food was excellent from the fresh baked cranberry loaf, to the sweetbreads with garlic aoioli to our roasted duck breast that was perfectly cooked to medium rare. crystal room never disappoints
Our server Steven provided outstanding service even though they seemed short staffed. His extra effort paid off and we appreciated it on our anniversary.
This establishment tries to be eloquent but has clients in rough outdoor hiking apparel in the main dining area.
Not a very busy restaurant - which made it feel a bit weird. The pear salad was delish, but the ahi tuna appetizer was very fatty and not great.
Lamb with an orzo salad was incredible. Duck beast with crispy skin very good. Pecan pie a la mode delicious.
We were staying at the resort and wanted to try their restaurants. We were not disappointed. Every person we encountered was so warm and welcoming and knowledgeable. I had a Chardonnay that was recommended and it was superb- Orin Swift. The meal itself was excellent. Only wish I had room for dessert as the chocolate cake looked amazing.
After having a questionable last year, we considered not visiting the Chrystal Room this year. Good new is it was a 180 degree change. Food was good and Steven provided excellent service.
We had a wonderful dinner at Bedford Springs. The bread with dates was such a unique and delicious start and it set the tone for the whole evening. I ordered the crab artichoke appetizer, ravioli, and finished with the chocolate cake, and every dish was absolutely divine. The flavors were balanced, rich, and beautifully presented. The service was incredible and the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful, making the entire experience feel so special.
We booked a weekend at Omni Bedford Springs for our wedding anniversary and decided on the Crystal Room for our anniversary dinner, mainly because it had an interesting sounding vegetarian dish, "tofu scallops." The dish was supposed to be prepared with "green bean and shitake ragout, roasted tomatoes, and basil." When it arrived, it included the "tofu scallops" (tofu cut in scallop shaped rounds and charred on one side), grilled asparagus, mushrooms and tomatoes, all placed on a plate loaded with a balsamic reduction. I assumed the chef didn't have the ingredients for or want to prepare the green bean and shitake ragout? Maybe they ran out of basil? In any case, it was an odd and disappointing meal (especially for the price) and I was dismayed that they tried to pass off whatever that combo was as the meal described on the menu. The asparagus/mushroom/tomato sides where the advertised sides for the meal my husband ordered (slow roasted footprint farms chicken) and he enjoyed his meal. Additionally, our server was kind and engaging and we enjoyed interacting with him. However, he spent a lot of time with each of his 4 tables and we watched other diners who arrived after us be greeted, served, and finished in a much more timely manner. The restaurant had approximately 10 tables with diners, so it was by no means busy. The next day, we shared our expereince with the Crystal Room manager. She apologized and compensated us for the "tofu scallop" meal and the salad I had ordered as well. I really appreciated her graciousness and unsolicited offer to reimburse us.
Great dinner, we always enjoy the Crystal Room. Stephen was our server and he is fantastic and made the dinner perfect.

We look forward to coming here every year for our anniversary and it never disappoints! Every bite of our meal is always delicious.
We enjoyed most of our experience. The music felt as though it didn't fit the vibe. Something softer such as piano or classical strings would have added the extra loveliness to the classic atmosphere.
Service was excellent. Food options were excellent. My short ribs were tender. The beet salad was dressed perfectly. Passion fruit crème brulle was a little bland but fruit on top was nice touch.
Let’s break it down by time of day: Breakfast: The breakfast buffet is not what it used to be 10 years ago. The quality of the food has gone down. The gluten-free table that used to have a dedicated toaster is gone. Servers are accommodating and willing to have the chefs make gluten-free pancakes, toast, and breakfast potatoes. The service is still impeccable with every server being attentive. Dinner: Ambiance is great given the low lighting. Attentive servers & willingness to accommodate for gluten allergies. However, there are not enough desserts for people with a gluten allergy. The food is priced high, but the portions are small.
Lovely place to have a special celebration or dinner! The room is beautiful. The food is fantastic & the service is wonderful! They go the extra mile in attention to detail & service to you. We have celebrated many happy occasions there & will continue to do so.
