Corleones' Bar & Grill

We came here for dinner on a Friday night in August. We were traveling and checked the map for something that was close and looked good. The menu looked good and I liked the name because I have seen the Godfather a bunch of times but I was a little hesitant at first because it was in a strip mall.

We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by a bartender who gave us menus and took our drink order. She gave a little time to decide on meals and then out that order in for us. We ordered the calamari to share and we wanted to split the shrimp scampi as well. There weren’t too many people on the bar side. I couldn’t see the dining room area. There are couple Godfather posters which was cool.

The food came out shortly after ordering and the kitchen was able to split the pasta for us which we appreciated because we know how messy it can get at the bar when we try to do that ourselves with pasta. We were grateful they could do that - some places won’t. The calamari was very good. They pasta was good. I wish it would have had a little bit of lemon in it to make the garlic more pronounced but that’s just my preference.

The bartender was friendly and attentive. She seemed to have good rapport with the other customers who maybe were regulars. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual.

They have a lottery machine. We weee hoping to get a winning powerball ticket that night but the machine was offline. Oh well.

Prices were comparable to other similar places we go at home. Parking was easy - since it’s in the strip mall it shares a big lot with surrounding businesses.

Overall we had a good time.

Waitstaff guy i had was touch n go. I ordered the Large Spaghetti which the water put on the plate was too much for my idea of it. The meatballs were the frozen variety that wasn't good. Really can not speak well of the food. The drinks tho were spot on ! Had 2, the Gangster Gin and the Lemoncello, both were very well made unlike the food, I should've just got drinks till I was drunk enough to eat. Not returning because of the food being like a tomato peeled on my plate, just a watery mess. Mind ya, YOU gotta but garlic bread in addition which is a rip off. Feel free to try, you wont be disappointed.

I've always driven by the restaurant, and this evening we tried it out after church. Let me first say our waitress Dylan was fantastic! The service level, politeness, and the attention she showed or table is something that is rare in the restaurant industry. If they already don't, they need to replicate the service level she provided us this evening (and the rest of the wait staff, although not with our table..fantastic with each table and does not go unnoticed.

I am also thank the cooks (who also should go unnoticed). Our food was cooked to perfection. Let me say that you KNOW when you are being served a homemade pizza (pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms), and enjoyed every minute of it. Salmon was perfectly cooked, and the meat ravioli with red sauce - the sauce reminded me of when I was in Pittsburgh -italian neighbor -homemade).

I apologize to you in advance from not trying it earlier, but I won't make that mistake again.

(And I could not help but try a bite of the chocolate cake while driving home.... OMG 😱)

Very good place to eat

Took a few tries but finally found something I loved. Tried pizza it was...OK. tried chicken parm...it was bad. Just got an Italian hoagie....it was awesome.

Delish!

The bar area is well decorated. They have a great selection also. I ordered the black angus burger with sauteed mushrooms on the side. Great burger, the beef was excellent along with a sizable portion of delicious mushrooms.
