Pizza is really good! My husband likes it there with the new owners, they are doing a good job taking over. However the Parmesan garlic bites were sooo spicy and bitter, tasted like eating a straight glove, but my husband is a pure Italian so he ate them. Thank you!

This is a legit pizzeria first and foremost. All fresh ingredients made to order...there is no freezer...and it just smells amazing once you step foot in the door. The seating area is very clean, spacious and quaint/cozy...you can see the pizza oven and the pizza prep station. All this activity culminating in an awesome Slice of pie. I had the Brooklyn style thick with pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and banana peppers. It was delicious...thick but light doughy but fluffy and lighter weight than what it looks. The owner came by and gave a sample slice of the NY style thing pie and it was just as awesome. So now the only thing to decide is are you buying the thick sicilian.or thin NY style..cause your definitely going to order from Salvatore's (or you should). I have a fairly sophisticated pallet and notice attentional to detail and this place got BOTH in spades. Ciao!

Salvatore’s Pizza and Pasta: A Hidden Gem Worth the Drive

Nestled in Rostraver, PA, Salvatore’s Pizza and Pasta is the kind of place you hope stays a secret just long enough for you to savor its greatness without a crowd—but honestly, there should be a line out the door for pizza this good.

The owner’s Brooklyn roots shine in every slice. Salvatore’s thin-crust pizza hits all the right notes of authentic New York style: a sauce that’s perfectly tangy and vibrant, just the right kiss of grease to keep things indulgent, and a crust that’s both airy and crisp. The bottom has the ideal amount of char, giving it a subtle smokiness that complements the flavors beautifully. There’s very little flop, so you can fold your slice Brooklyn-style with ease, and each bite is a balance of chewy, crunchy, and utterly satisfying.

The unassuming location outside of Pittsburgh makes Salvatore’s a true hidden gem, but make no mistake—this is destination-worthy pizza. Whether you’re a local or a traveler, one visit will have you coming back again and again.

Authenticity, flavor, and craftsmanship—Salvatore’s has it all. Do yourself a favor and experience it before everyone else discovers the magic. Can’t wait to try their Brooklyn Sicilian next!

Me and my father went to this place twice before we got in. They close the Kitchen at 7, but they close at 8. We ordered a Chicken Parm Hero, dinner, and a pizza. The dinner was a joke, with one of the smallest pieces of chicken parm I’ve ever seen with what looked like penne. The sub tasted good but was very small as well. The pizza is very good but it is not 16 inch as we ordered. All came to $65 which was absolutely redicolous. The food also took almost an half hour to come out even though we were one of 4 people in the dining area. Place also just seemed very depressing. Could be much better with improvements but at the moment I do not intend to come back

I checked out Salvatore Pizza & Pasta for lunch and got the 2 slice special. The pizza is top notch. The dough was very thin with a nice crisp. I really liked the sauce. They use Grande cheese, some of the best out there. The pepperoni was good, this pizza should have the little crispy pepperonis tho in my opinion. It's a big place with plenty of seats too, perfect for big groups.

Wow! How have we not found this place before now. Hard to find on the map and on the road as it sits back and the sign is barly there but the pizza was amazing. My son who doesn't eat anything but the peporoni off pizza slices ate two whole slices including crust! Price is actually better than other pizza places in the area.

We also tried the garlic knots and thebonly thing I was sad about was not ordering 2 orders!
