Found out about this place through social media! I flew all the way from Arizona just to see what the commotion was all about and it did not disappoint. They had such a beautiful place. Massive and packed elegantly! Such awesome feng shui with relics everywhere like a combination of alchemy, dark academia and whimsically gothic.
Now to the most impressive part…the food. Xander was our server, what a great guy! Given my girlfriend being a vegan and being in the middle of nowhere she was happy with her tofu wings and juicy beyond burger WITH vegan cheese! As for myself the classic Reuben. We forced ourselves to hold off on eating all of the massive portions to enjoy for later!
We were also very fortunate enough to meet Chef Tony, the mastermind behind it all! This guys is a mensch, Yiddish for a person with integrity, honor and respect!
Will come back again and again. I recommend you do the same if you’re anywhere near State College and want the full experience!

I had a terrific experience dining here. I love Halloween and I love the industrial look and this place has both along with great food and service. We ate at the bar and the bartender was so kind and told us all about the place and gave us excellent service. We can't wait to come back.

Stopped in after visit to Rooted Farmstead on Sunday. Our waiter was friendly and helpful in adjusting some our food choices. The meals were delicious as was my cocktail. Highly recommend.

Wonderfully delicious Schnitzel with Shitake mushroom gravy. Tender, juicy delicious. Chunky mushroom slices in the gravy. Side of Spaetzel was made extra yummy by being sauteed to a light brown for a nutty flavor. Pickled red cabbage was just the right amount of sweet and sour.
Not being fans of cider, their specialty, we were happy to be able to enjoy Axemann Brewery brews.
Our server was great!
Decor was quirky and artful.

Lorna was our server and she was unbelievably engaging and charismatic. Coming from the industry, she is the mold of what most restaurants strive to replicate with their staff. She was well informed and communicative; she also struck the perfect balance of conversing/upselling and not “overstaying” her welcome.
The food - Brussels and wings appetizer were delicious. Even though the wings were on the smaller side, the unique sauces made the dish stick out as a whole. The farmers salad was a perfect blend of acidic, savory and fruity with just the right amount of crunch. My brother LOVED the corn risotto (so much so that he took foodie pics and he NEVER takes foodie pics). My husband ordered the fish and chips and it was a massive serving (and the batter on the fish was wonderful.
We all loved our drinks and were we not actively on our way to my in laws beach house where they have ciders awaiting me, I would have left with multiple growlers. In fact, we will be returning for growlers on the next visit and have already communicated to other family members to visit our brother if only so they can go to Alloy (who cares about visiting siblings/sons when you have an incredible vibe with impeccable food/drink and service 1 mile away!)

Don't let the factory like exterior keep you from experiencing this unique restaurant! Boasting a spooky esthetic and delicious menu Titan Hollow winery/ Alloy kitchen is a must try. They were out of most desserts due to restaurant week but our main courses (Calabria pork chops, and the red curry pot roast) were out of this world with great portions. The service seemed slow in my opinion for as many ladies were working but that won't keep us from coming back. We gave the cider flight a whirl... when the waitress says its a spicy cider, believe her. Along with live music they offer nightly entertainment, tonight was music bingo.

My wife and I enjoyed the Alloy Kitchen for the first time last night. We had a wonderful time. We didn’t know, but on Thursdays, they have live music in the evening. The band was great. My wife enjoyed her Chimichurri Steak, bringing to her memory a similar meal enjoyed in the Caribbean. I thought their Alloy Burger was the best burger I’ve had in a long, long time. Overall, fantastic evening with my wife. Thank you!

The food is always delicious and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The Alloy burger is my personal favorite. They have gluten free buns, a dedicated fryer, and the staff are very knowledgeable about food allergies. They also have a nice rotation of tasty cider cocktails! Highly recommend!
