“We have been twice now and the food has been so consistent and delicious!

Ashlynn was our server the first time and took such great care of us. The host (whose name I didn’t get) was so friendly and personable both times as well. Just such a great atmosphere from the moment you walk in until you leave. The second time we came back Ashlynn recognized us when she dropped off our burgers. She’s the best!

Honestly one of the best burgers in state college, plus you get to customize it! And their desserts are insane.

This is our new spot every time we are craving burgers. This beats the field, champs and Quaker steak and lube.

I've been planning events for almost 30 years and can say Axemann stands out as one of the best staff and locations! I'm picky and a perfectionist. They met the challenge! Mo, the GM, was so incredibly attentive and accommodating. The owners, venue, and drinks are fabulous. We already are planning another event there because they are so great to work with..and FUN!!!”

The venue surpassed our expectations and made our special day truly unforgettable. Since then, we have received endless compliments on the venue! “First time trying this place and it did not disappoint! Fresh seafood dishes are amazing! Mexicali Deviled eggs were delish! I had matts toasted seafood-mussels, clams and shrimp over pasta with a red sauce which was amazing. Our table had fish and chips which was flakey and delish and another person had short ribs which was buttery and HUGE! Portions are large. Service was excellent and it is in a cozy sheek home converted into an eatery. Worth the drive. We will be back! Oh and all homemade deserts!”

The chef worked in Mexico for a number of years, and offers some original recipes you won’t find in the typical American-Mexican restaurant. Highly recommended!”

“This is by far the absolute best self service car wash in the state! I'm not kidding. Do not and I repeat. Do not go to red line car washes they will rip you off. I will drive across town to come to this car wash. One of the workers even showed me inside of the soap room. It's very modern equipment. Their low pressure wash really does go through a high filtration system. It's not fake. It's for real you get quality service here, quality soap. The car wash is always
clean, free vacuums A1 car wash A1 thank you.”

“Not sure what the other reviews are on about. I grew up in Bellefonte and of course was sad to learn that the buffet was no more, but we got the usual stuff as take out and it was great! My gf is quick to spot greasy Chinese food ( there are a few places she won’t let me order from anymore in ATL for that reason) but even she thought it was delicious.”
