However, there was so much rice in both and less meat, so we found the meat was not sufficient to eat the rice. If Cafe Alina wants improve its services, think about our comments and take some remedial measures. Thanks!”

“Clean, very kind staff.
The omelet I had was not stellar, but I was there at 1pm so I’ll allow it. The potatoes were great, the coffee was great, and they had a wide selection of sides. The toast was thick cut (yum) and the pancakes were thick too (my preference as well).
If the omelet came out better it’d be an easy 5 stars.”

“This place was awesome. So many different ways to customize your burger. They give you a sheet with all of the different options, and you get to select them with a pencil, and then you get to name your creation as well. They also had some amazing-looking desserts that I was too full to try. The burger was delicious, and the onion rings were hot and crispy. The Coke Zero I got was in a bottle, but they served it with a cup of ice. I really enjoyed it here.”

“What a great family, small town restaurant with BIG portions and bigger hearts! We met the owner, Greg, in town. What a genuinely nice guy. His daughter Hanna, is part of the team! We ordered the wedge. Its a sandwich made with pizza dough. It was too big to eat in one sitting. The special was buy a wedge get fresh cut fries free. The basket of fries was huge too! Definitely worth the money!”

“I can't speak for how it is during the main academic year, but coming here over the summer was a lovely experience. The sole employee working there was friendly and provided a history of the establishment and some hot ramen shenanigans that occurred. The food itself was also an experience I've yet to find elsewhere. Definitely the closet thing you'll get to a Korean Convenient Store in the area. Will absolutely be going back again.”

“This is my favorite late-night food spot in State College. They are usually open until midnight, and at that time, most of your other options are basically just McDonald’s or pizza. Their matcha is really good, and I also think they have the best pho around State College. For the fried chicken, I highly recommend the garlic flavor—the sauce is really good. If you get hungry at night and you like milk tea, pho, and fried chicken, you definitely need to come here. They also have a lot of board games, so it’s a great place to hang out and play with friends.”

“Fun local place to go for a more upscale-feeling dining experience. The service was a little slower than expected, although it was a busy Friday evening. Our table and several others around us did seem to be waiting past multiple rounds of drinks for their apps and entree’s to arrive. Our food was very good when it came out though! My partner was a little disappointed that his steak was overdone past what he’d asked for- but he still enjoyed his birthday meal. I got the poke bowl, which I thought was absolutely delicious! Overall we had a very lovely time, despite the bit of a wait and will be back in the future!”
