“Went off the beaten path today for lunch on our trek across Pennsylvania. Miller's was worth the extra mile off of I-80. The hoagies are so much better than a fast food hoagie. The ingredients were fresh, literally being taken out of the refrigerator as they made our sandwiches, compared to fast food sandwich places with all of the ingredients laid out for the day. The staff was welcoming and efficient. If I lived in the area, I'd be here for breakfast or lunch regularly! The only reason for not giving 5 stars is because my husband really wanted a wrap. We didn't see it on the menu.”

“Stopped for an iced coffee today while waiting for my pup to get groomed down the road.Coffee was good. Service was as usual. Employees are not super friendly but not rude by any means. I use my app often, and they are always patient while I connect to their guest wifi, so that my deals on my app will load (helpful tip if you can't get it to work).Good amount of available parking, I sometimes see tractor trailers in the lot but I wouldn't count on the room always being available (truck stop is just up 150 across the street and walking distance.Usually a fast McDonald's stop at this location. I am rarely in line longer than 5 minutes. Equipment is almost never down here, which is nice and unlike other McDonald's I have visited.I'll be back! We don't exactly have many other options in a rural area like ours! ?”

“Perfectly serviceable gas station Subway. It's in a good location if you're returning a rental car to State College airport because you can get gas and food for the plane at the same ”

“Such a great experience when you visit Penn State. A must try for any visitor. We also took it on a trip to see relatives in Ohio and they were thrilled. The Creamery packs it on dry ice for travel.”

“We were visiting here and I wanted to try something new and this place was perfect. If you love pastries like I do be sure to check this place. The owners are very kind and welcoming.I had the ff:Potato and Mushroom Borek Bites - I’m not a big fan of mushrooms but this one is really good. You can see the mushrooms and taste it but it’s doesn’t have that super mushroomy flavor that I don’t like. It was actually good!Baked Chicken Turnover - This was my fav! I love turnovers and this one is just perfect for me. The chicken was flavorful and they served it perfectly warm (not too hot inside).Baklava - There wasn’t a lot of filling, it was more of dough. I would give this 3.5/5 since I had a really good one somewhere else last night to compare with ?. This is a bigger size though.Coffee- perfect!I would love to try all the food if I could ?Lastly it was a bit chilly inside. I didn’t bring my coat inside thinking it will be warmer. I first sat on the bar stools but got so cold so I moved. It was more of when people open the door but I wish there’s more heat inside.Overall, highly recommended and will surely be back when we visit here again.”

“So from the perspective of a Lebanese woman: Life changing Halal truck for Middle Easterners in State college!! I’m from Detroit with family in Dearborn and I haven’t found any food out here that can compare to the amazing dishes I eat back home and make myself. UNTIL NOW! This is the best Halal Truck EVER!! The one on Pugh street is a scammin sham compared to these guys!! They’re tucked in a space on Calder by Cafe Alina and I assure you, you will not regret it. The lamb melts in your mouth, the chicken is so savory, fish is phenomenal, the white sauce is ON POINT, and they make their own homemade hot sauce!! And they’re so nice!! I found this place about a week and a half ago and have been there about seven times since ? Please check them out!!Seriously. Better than penn kabob, penn pide, totally blows pita cabana out the water, and makes the other trucks look like a joke. I know my Arab food ?”

“Great drinks, and that's all there needs to be. Love the matcha, and the fruit tea selections are amazing! Menu is clear and lets you easily make any edits. Have not had the food, but have heard only good things about it. One of the best new tea places in State College, though it can be pricy.”

“Went to Bonfire Old Fashioned BBQ tonight for fish. Wow, what a great experience. Guy directed us in, held the door, welcomed us, seated us and we didn’t have one server, we had several. The guy (I’m guessing owner manager) cheerfully gave us a sample of their chili over creamy Mac n cheese. It’s a specialty of theirs. Superb. Husb had fish dinner and I had fish sandwich. Superb. Multiple people checked on us several times, free drink refills without a wait. We were thanked for coming in and I believe the lady of the place escorted us out an exit they don’t use on regular basis because it was closer to where we parked and flat covered walk for my husband walking with a cane. We wanted dessert but no room; servings are awesome. We’re going back some evening just to have a treat. Clean, warm atmosphere, spacious seating, great food and service as well as appropriate pricing. Highly recommend. Thank you to the entire staff and kudos to the cook(s) for a very delightful dinner hour. We’ll be back. Lots on menu we want to try!!Parking: Plenty of parking both sides of the building.Kid-friendliness: We didn’t have kids along but overheard the welcome that was given to families. “Excellent atmosphere, good appetizers (the chili lime french fries were quite spicy); however, it does not take much for me to reach my spice Limit. The Barrell Burger was awesome. First ever ribeye blend burger I had, and the bacon was top of the line and nice n crispy on the edges. My boss had the Delmonico Steak and loved it.”

“Absolutely fabulous bakery to order a custom cake from! I could not be happier with the cake and outstanding customer service. I shared my vision with Tatiana for a custom graduation cake and she did an excellent job. Our guests were wowed! “This is a very cute spot to dine in or take to go! We ordered two breakfast sandwiches & added Italian sausage to them. We also go a cafe freddo (iced latte) and two macarons. The place is nicely set up & has a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly & helpful even when it was busy. Check this local place out if you’re coming through bellefonte!”

“Pizza — delicious thicker dough with abundant toppings on the meat lovers and cheesesteak pizzas. Wait staff — incredibly attentive to what they saw we needed or desired! The place — older, cramped and uncomfortable seats, but it didn’t hamper our experience and clearly doesn’t hurt business, as it was packed the whole time we were there, with a line inside for seating and for carryout. The small bar had one seated patron. Two TVs tuned to football games were nice to have but unnecessary. The food and feel inspired fun conversation. Friends say their wings and sandwiches are fantastic. It’ll be hard to order them with such great pizza. We shall see!”

“Jumped on the Four Ways Pub & Eatery bandwagon this afternoon. It's as good as the reviews claim! I was torn between the roast beef grinder and the smash burger. The burger won and holy cow! Great choice. Hubby got the chicken salad which will most likely be my next selection. Although everything looked good.Got to meet Tara and have a nice chat. Glad we stopped in. Good food, friendly service, and clean facility.”

“Superb! Enjoyed a family birthday celebration and had the BEST time staying at “The Gamble Mill” including the use of the private “Speakeasy” room. So classy!!! The decor of the whole place is beautiful, modern yet cozy while feeling a presence of history - really cool! The bedroom suites are spacious and provide detailed amenities- they thought of every little thing; the bed was super comfy and the sheets/blankets so soft and lush.“The Republic” bar served a variety of delicious signature cocktails - I especially enjoyed the “Anne Marie” and the “Perfect Martini” So refreshing and served in pretty glasses! The service was so friendly, attentive and timely. I love the atmosphere of this bar! Definitely a place to visit or go regularly if you live nearby!”

“I have these almost everyday! Personally I order 6 unsalted pretzels and the container, about 8-12oz. CINNAMON SUGAR DIP! Yes! PEOPLE get it! You won't regret it. IT'S HEAVENLY! I have that for breakfast on my days off- no cooking. Lol Honestly a great place with great people! The new owner is a truly kind person. And the girl behind the counter is lovely. Also if your going for savory flavors- honey mustard is good! And the PEPPERONI ROLL WITH that MARINARA- DEFINITELY worth a try! Lastly- the FROZEN LEMONADE is an ICEE on NEXT LEVEL !! Addicting in itself! It's just a heartwarming experience no matter my mood. From spicy mustard to brownie batter dips in individual dip portions, bottles and small tubs.. choose your favorite.
