“Perfect stop after swimming at Bald Eagle State Park. Burgers are good, Gooney burger is big and messy and a bucket of fries is literally a bucket (think medium movie theater bucket) and more than 3 of us could eat. Ice cream is Hersheys hand dipped or soft serve. Soft serve waffle cone is huge as are the sundae boats. Credit cards accepted. Seating inside and out.”

“This is a very cute spot to dine in or take to go! We ordered two breakfast sandwiches & added Italian sausage to them. We also go a cafe freddo (iced latte) and two macarons. The place is nicely set up & has a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly & helpful even when it was busy. Check this local place out if you’re coming through bellefonte!”

“Pizza — delicious thicker dough with abundant toppings on the meat lovers and cheesesteak pizzas. Wait staff — incredibly attentive to what they saw we needed or desired! The place — older, cramped and uncomfortable seats, but it didn’t hamper our experience and clearly doesn’t hurt business, as it was packed the whole time we were there, with a line inside for seating and for carryout. The small bar had one seated patron. Two TVs tuned to football games were nice to have but unnecessary. The food and feel inspired fun conversation. Friends say their wings and sandwiches are fantastic. It’ll be hard to order them with such great pizza. We shall see!”

“Jumped on the Four Ways Pub & Eatery bandwagon this afternoon. It's as good as the reviews claim! I was torn between the roast beef grinder and the smash burger. The burger won and holy cow! Great choice. Hubby got the chicken salad which will most likely be my next selection. Although everything looked good.Got to meet Tara and have a nice chat. Glad we stopped in. Good food, friendly service, and clean facility.”

“Superb! Enjoyed a family birthday celebration and had the BEST time staying at “The Gamble Mill” including the use of the private “Speakeasy” room. So classy!!! The decor of the whole place is beautiful, modern yet cozy while feeling a presence of history - really cool! The bedroom suites are spacious and provide detailed amenities- they thought of every little thing; the bed was super comfy and the sheets/blankets so soft and lush.“The Republic” bar served a variety of delicious signature cocktails - I especially enjoyed the “Anne Marie” and the “Perfect Martini” So refreshing and served in pretty glasses! The service was so friendly, attentive and timely. I love the atmosphere of this bar! Definitely a place to visit or go regularly if you live nearby!”

“The 9oz sirloin steak was amazing but all the food came out at the same time. Both the appetizers and the main meal. But otherwise the food was amazing the beer was cold and the atmosphere was great”

“Large interesting Italian themed menu , gluten free and vegan options. Beer looked good, water carafe was plenty.. Had the fish planks , blonde meatball bombs and lasagna dip all super tasty and enormous portions .”

“Went off the beaten path today for lunch on our trek across Pennsylvania. Miller's was worth the extra mile off of I-80. The hoagies are so much better than a fast food hoagie. The ingredients were fresh, literally being taken out of the refrigerator as they made our sandwiches, compared to fast food sandwich places with all of the ingredients laid out for the day. The staff was welcoming and efficient. If I lived in the area, I'd be here for breakfast or lunch regularly! The only reason for not giving 5 stars is because my husband really wanted a wrap. We didn't see it on the menu.”

“It was great to stop again at the Brown's Hill Tavern, unfortunately it was because of taking a break from a snow storm but this is the place where you can feel welcomed. Heather was great at the bar and the food and their prices are definitely the best you can get.”

Let me start off by saying that, and preface further by saying I'm here nearly daily.The people that run this place, Eric, Jeff and Sheila, are some of the most genuine individuals you will find in Bellefonte. They have come through for people time and time again and would give you the shirts off of their backs without even knowing you.There have been times I was broke and came in and they were more than happy to help me, no questions asked. We've bonded over our shared situations and they've been grateful to have me, even when I'm not able to do my part as a customer right then, or if I can't tip fully.This place is the place to go for food done right, and a homely atmosphere with individuals that couldn't be happier to see you.”

“We always stop by whenever we visit The Nature Inn at Bald Eagle State Park. Everything is delicious and it is a cozy place to eat breakfast or lunch. We bring a box home with us and the pastries are good for a week. They post on their Facebook page the menu for the weekend and if they have any schedule changes.”

“Okay, it's a hotdog shack and if you don't like hotdogs you have no business being here. But it is an ideal spot to grab a quick lunch while fishing the fantastic trout streams in the area. I have not been here for several years and was very glad to see that Mr Hotdog was still open and serving their fantastic Texas dogs. Great staff including a friendly waitress and a owner who is a solid guy that chatted with me about the troubles of the world for a good 20 minutes. “A true dive Bar so smoky you can't see the other end if the bar. However, the renovated dining room which is best entered thru the totally run down front door has really good food at reasonable prices. One of my go to local eateries for sure.”
