“There's always a fun & friendly crowd here! It's nice to go into a place & actually have full conversations with people that I don't even know. The bartenders are knowledgeable & welcoming. I like the party themes; Halloween, Ugly Christmas Sweater, Mardi Gras...it's so fun dressing up! They always find a reason to bring the community together!!! The food is great & the drink specials are appropriate for the occasion. You must visit here 👍👍“

“Is a Rock Bar so cool. The bartenders are so friendly. Every Saturday you can sing at the rock karaoke. Is the perfect place we want to go always after party. Bar hours are so good closing at 2 am which is so good in Bellefonte. Very nice people to make new friends. There is a Pool table to play whenever you want. Nice clean and big Restrooms. You can choose the rock song you want to listen at the jukebox. It reminds me all the places I used to go before. They sell chips and hot dogs and all the drinks you prefer. You can buy a t-shirt with the name of the bar so comfy. See you there. Rock on !!!“

“My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to stop for food after watching a movie, and we loved the food! We had the ability to make reservations online or order ahead but didn't really have a need to. The food came out quick and had great flavor. The cocktails were perfect not too strong not too weak. The prices were very reasonable as well! Our waitress was very nice and it wasn't super busy so it was a nice chill atmosphere I would definitely go again and highly recommend!“

“We ate here for my birthday on Mother's Day and it was fantastic. I was there for work and my husband came to visit for my birthday. We didn't have a reservation, which was a problem since it was also graduation weekend, but they allowed us to sit at the bar and eat, which was fine by me! We started with the Surf and Turf rolls and lamb lollipops. Both were delicious! I had the Tavern Chicken for my main, while my husband had the Prime Rib. SO DELICIOUS!!!!!
Our meal was so great that I took the new manager of our store out for dinner there my last night in town. This time I had the Pross Scallops and she had the Peruvian Chicken.
I will be dreaming about those scallops forever they were so good. The fennel and apple slaw on top was the perfect finish to the scallops on a bed of purple mash. I might have to come back just to get those scallops... and the lemon cake I finished dinner with.
The service during both visits was spectacular and the drinks were also very good. Best place to eat in State College!“

“I was out of town and recommended to come here by a local. Went in late late and met Shooter and Chad. Had an amazing time. The staff was so down to earth and made me feel like a local as well. Perhaps one of the best dive bars I’ve ever been to in my life. Cheers friends“
“This is an interesting bar in downtown State College because it's right in the midst of everything (it is right next to the Gaff), but it has a very different vibe to it. It is attached to a nice restaurant so it is a more upscale casual than the super casual nature of the bars around it.It is interesting to go there because they have traditional furniture and makes you feel like you're in a place of some history. They make good cocktails, and this is a nice place to go if you're looking to enjoy the nightlife downtown without rowdiness or blasting music. It is a good place for conversation and the candlelit tables feel very intimate. It is not a huge place which will also get swamped on big weekends like Arts Fest and Blue and White.“

“Doggie's has the best pizza in State College but even better than the pizza is the service!
Everyone I've come in contact with has always been happy and helpful. I went in to pick up 20, yes 20 Pizzas that the owners graciously donated to the PSU Men's Rugby team and it was the Banana Crawl weekend. As on can assume SC and Doggie's were packed! But our pizzas were hot and perfect!
Doggie's pizza is the #1 for me in State College!“
“After being stuck in mud for 2 hours at the Memorial Day events in Boalsburg, I needed a place to unwind. New to the area and The Bar was highly recommended, so I stopped in. It eas exactly what I missed from where I'm from. Bartender was great. This is definitely a place I'd come back to.“

The venue surpassed our expectations and made our special day truly unforgettable. Since then, we have received endless compliments on the venue!
