“Excellent restaurant. Our party of four was seeated immediately at noon on a Saturday. The server was very friendly and helpful. But the star was the food, which was all amazing. The cigar rolls were a delicious appetizer, would highly recommend. And all our main courses were spectacular.“

“This place is amazing. Let me start off by saying that, and preface further by saying I'm here nearly daily. The people that run this place, Eric, Jeff and Sheila, are some of the most genuine individuals you will find in Bellefonte. They have come through for people time and time again and would give you the shirts off of their backs without even knowing you. There have been times I was broke and came in and they were more than happy to help me, no questions asked. We've bonded over our shared situations and they've been grateful to have me, even when I'm not able to do my part as a customer right then, or if I can't tip fully. This place is the place to go for food done right, and a homely atmosphere with individuals that couldn't be happier to see you.“

Mr. Hot Dog and More American • $
807 Pleasantview Blvd, Bellefonte

“Okay, it's a hotdog shack and if you don't like hotdogs you have no business being here. But it is an ideal spot to grab a quick lunch while fishing the fantastic trout streams in the area. I have not been here for several years and was very glad to see that Mr Hotdog was still open and serving their fantastic Texas dogs. Great staff including a friendly waitress and a owner who is a solid guy that chatted with me about the troubles of the world for a good 20 minutes. I really enjoyed my lunch.Vegetarian options: Its a hotdog shop, what do you think?“

Red Roost Car Wash Barbeque •
699-779 Pleasantview Blvd, Bellefonte

“The wash is now called Rnw wash. I was there to use the free vacuums (which is awesome that that’s an option) and to get a wash. The machine jammed up after taking my money. I called the number available and reached Rodney (the owner). He went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of, and even gave me an upgraded wash. I really appreciated the service, and the respectfulness Rodney gave me. 10/10, I will be back!“

“What this restaurant does well, it does particularly well. The carbonara is excellent, and easily their top entrée. The limoncello makes for an excellent dessert. Conversely, other entrées, such as the flounder, are okay but not necessarily the best you'll have. The location's ambience is very inviting, conveying, a sense of intimacy and elegance. The service is very good and attentive. It very much has the feel of a date night destination on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday evening.“

“We had a great meal, the food and service was excellent. The boneless wings app is enough for an entree and very tender and juicy. The chili Mac was very good, as were the baked beans. The sausage medallions were very tasty and the peppers were fresh. I will go back for the garlic mashed potatoes“

“Lovely dinner! We did the pre-paid fixed 4 course menu. Great food, staff was wonderful. Owner came by and was able to answer my husband's questions about how many kilowatts output their solar panels produce and all about the structure, which is beautiful as well as LEED certified.“

“Stopped in for Sunday brunch. Our first time here and wanted to check it out based from word of mouth. Seated quickly and server took our drink orders. I had a Bloody Maria after inquiring what the difference was between that and a Mary (tequila instead of vodka). Quite good actually. Probably a new preference. My food order was something called a Capricious Goat. Egg omelette with goat cheese, cherry tomatoes, and arugula. Served with home fries. It was a plateful. Nice mix of flavors. And the goat cheese was local.Hubby got the pretzel bread which came with beer cheese and apple slices. The bread was very interesting and reminded me of dense cornbread. The cheese was also quite different from what we were used to. To me it had an almost pimento spread type vibe. Cold with just a touch of heat.Hubby's other small plate was the beef empanada. Two generous sized pieces with a roja sauce for dipping. Golden brown with a very well seasoned filling.I spied their blackboard on the wall with posted drinks and desserts and my eyes lit up when I saw banoffee pie listed. Since this is something I've always been curious about, we decided to share a slice. The presentation as it was carried to our table was impressive! There it sat on it's own little pedestal. The pie itself was very eye appealing. First bite you could tell it was ooey gooey good with all that caramel. The sliced bananas were just right and that crust was amazing too. Very rich dessert and I'm glad we tried it.Service was outstanding. Now I know why this is a popular place. Looking forward to returning.“
