My organization, Spotlight PA, recently hosted a fundraising event in the upstairs area. I've been planning events for almost 30 years and can say Axemann stands out as one of the best staff and locations! I'm picky and a perfectionist. They met the challenge!
Mo, the GM, was so incredibly attentive and accommodating. The owners, venue, and drinks are fabulous.
We already are planning another event there because they are so great to work with..and FUN!!!

Axemann Brewery provides a fun atmosphere with various seating options, including an outside area, a bar, and a place to play cornhole. Although it may appear small from the outside, the venue is surprisingly spacious, featuring an outdoor "patio" on the roof and a creek-side sitting area. Customers enjoy a large open space that is perfect for hanging out with friends or family, along with plenty of games for entertainment. They serve beers with Penn State themed names and have a small kitchen that offers decent food, including popular items like truffleless parmesan fries and wings, especially the Golden BBQ flavor. The food options have improved with the recent partnership with Flo Brothers Pizza. The venue, an old mill, has a unique setup with indoor games and a big TV for watching sports, though there are not many permanent TVs like in some sports bars. It operates on a self-serve basis, which means customers handle their own drinks and food orders at separate counters. While some appreciate the casual vibe and large space, others miss the previous table service. The brewery is located right on the creek, making it a lovely spot when the weather is nice, but parking can be challenging as the lot is often full.
