Axemann Brewery offers a fun atmosphere with a variety of seating options, including an outside seating area, a bar area, and even a spot to play cornhole. The place may seem small from the outside but is surprisingly spacious, with an outdoor "patio" area on the roof and a creek-side sitting area. Customers can enjoy a big open space that is perfect for hanging out with friends or family, with lots of games to keep everyone entertained. They serve beers with Penn State themed names and have a small kitchen that makes great salads, along with other bar food++ items like stromboli and pizza. The food options include the popular truffleless parmesan fries and wings, which are very good, especially the Golden BBQ flavor. Some of the beer is good, and samples are available if asked. The venue is an old mill of some sort, with a very cool setup, indoor games, and a big TV for game watching, though not many permanent TVs like some sports bars. It is a self-serve place with not much of a wait. Customers appreciate the large space, room to walk around, and the casual vibe, making it a great spot to relax, enjoy good food and drinks, and meet people without any fuss.
