Got take out from here in Feb. 2025. Pork fried rice had a great smokey flavor. The chicken was fried to perfection. Other Chinese restaurants cannot compare to the Bellefonte Wok. Period.
I have lived in Centre County for 30 years and my go to in all that time for Chinese cuisine has been the excellent Bellefonte Wok. Fast and delicious for easy take out (street parking may b only issue). Dine in atmosphere has become less fancy since the pandemic. No buffet these days. (If that is a must, go to their sister location on North Atherton in State College, the College Buffet. Also excellently tasty.)
Not sure what the other reviews are on about. I grew up in Bellefonte and of course was sad to learn that the buffet was no more, but we got the usual stuff as take out and it was great! My gf is quick to spot greasy Chinese food ( there are a few places she won’t let me order from anymore in ATL for that reason) but even she thought it was delicious.
