This is a super cute little bar and restaurant that is a must see for any travelers passing by. I was visiting from out of town and had a friend take me here and instantly fell in love with the energy of the space. All the staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive which I immediately experienced upon walkin’ through the doors. Though we came for drinks, we were both happily surprised by the quality of the food here, truly. We I visit my friend again, I will request that this is the first place that we visit as it was fondly memorable!

Big Spring Spirits is a fantastic spot for a creative cocktail or your favorite liquor. The tasting room has a warm, cozy atmosphere with plenty of indoor seating, plus a spacious outdoor patio overlooking Talleyrand Park—perfect for when the weather is nice.

All of their house-distilled spirits are excellent, but my wife and I especially love the Governor’s Gin. Upon arrival, you’re welcomed with a mini beaker of one of their seasonal craft on-tap cocktails—a great touch, especially if you’re unsure what to order.

The kitchen, run by Belle City Bites, offers a rotating menu with fresh, creative options, whether you’re in the mood for a snack, something to share, or a full entrée.

If you’re in Bellefonte and looking for high-quality, locally made PA spirits, this is one of the best places to visit!

Big Springs is such a beautiful spot in Bellefonte. Their gin is some of the most fragrant I’ve ever tried, I highly recommend a simple gin & tonic if you don’t want one of their crafted cocktails (which are also great).

During the summer, they have a quaint patio in the garden right on the train tracks.

They do offer small plates, which have been delicious each time that we have got them. Highly recommend!

Came to Big Spring on a bitterly cold day before some thrifting in Bellefonte. I desperately wanted something warm, and the Hot Buttered Rum not only delivered but satisfied. It was a big drink, and kept me warm and cozy. We all just wanted to pick at some food, so we got the charcuterie and the bahn mi, which they were willing to cut into three. All of it was delicious, and we were given ample space to dish drama. Highly recommend Big Spring!

It is one week since the American Philatelic Society's postal history symposium about the Universal Postal Union. It was terrific having a representative of the Universal Postal Union attending our symposium. It was my first visit to the APS offices. I was delighted by the Match Factory. It sure seems like your distillery is a great tenant. We enjoyed your mixed drinks at our dinner. I bought a 4 pack of the single mixed drinks. The drink that is called CAMPARITA - it is like a Margarita with campari-ta.... it's a margarita with campari. My stamp collector friend came over to visit today and we are enjoying it right now! Thank you. come to think of it, I'll also send you a postcard. and I'll come back for drinks sometime

Stopped by to try their whiskey. Got a tasting sample of their American and wheat. Both are delicious and I'll be buying more in the future.

A great place to hang out. A long list of delicious cocktails to choose from. I always get a bottle of something to go. A few favorites: Governors Gin, Talleyrand Cream, Coffee Cordial, Coconut and Spiced rums among many others.
