Okay, it's a hotdog shack and if you don't like hotdogs you have no business being here. But it is an ideal spot to grab a quick lunch while fishing the fantastic trout streams in the area. I have not been here for several years and was very glad to see that Mr Hotdog was still open and serving their fantastic Texas dogs. Great staff including a friendly waitress and a owner who is a solid guy that chatted with me about the troubles of the world for a good 20 minutes....

I moved here about 8 years ago and tried it one day. Over time i probably go there at least once a month. I have never had a bad meal including breakfast, lunch, dinner. The menu is limited but that probably why the prices are so good. Its very clean and friendly. For the price you can’t beat it. Yes the young buck in there needs to hold his tongue sometimes, but he’s young and will learn that people come to eat and not talk politics.

Had Two Texas dogs and fries. Wish they salted the fries we got it to go but everything was super good.. 4 guys went there and they were all happy with there orders. The lady and the guy that was cooking was super polite and friendly. They made me feel like I was very welcome and appreciated the business. Highly recommend this place.
