Great little spot. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Every time I come to State College I will plan to stop in here for some drinks and hop over to Governors Pub for a shepherds pie!
There's always a fun & friendly crowd here! It's nice to go into a place & actually have full conversations with people that I don't even know. The bartenders are knowledgeable & welcoming. I like the party themes; Halloween, Ugly Christmas Sweater, Mardi Gras...it's so fun dressing up! They always find a reason to bring the community together!!! The food is great & the drink specials are appropriate for the occasion. You must visit here 👍👍
I was invited by two women to participate in a trivia contest at this restaurant. The competition was fun and challenging, but we only placed third. The lady bartender was very accommodating, because I only drank water. Everyone in the tavern was friendly, and I hope I get a chance to participate again.
