Nice old historical inn, good food, excellent friendly service. The sign is difficult to see - we were unsure where to turn, but it's right on the corner. Would highly recommend. Warning - portions are large.

Surprising gem passing by State College area. The building appears to be new or recently renovated. The decor is simple, I don't think that this was ever meant to be a fancy looking place but it has good food and quite atmosphere to have a good lunch or breakfast as the case may be. Ordered a sandwich not expecting much but got a good size club sandwich with excellent ingredients and wonderful pickle and fries with great service to match the atmosphere.
If you're by the area stop by. You won't be disappointed. I know I wasn't.

Got the turkey dinner and several from my party got salads. All very large portion sizes. It would have been the icing on the cake if they had cranberry sauce for the turkey dinners, but they don’t offer it. It’s a very small restaurant inside but there’s also outdoor seating. The service was good. The interior is nicely decorated, bright and modern. Plenty of parking and a ramp to get in making it easily accessible.

Had a late lunch during a road trip--fantastic food, wonderful service and got back on 80 in good time! My family had a burger with potato salad, a veggie panini with mac'n'cheese, a giant pretzel and chicken nuggets with fries--all delicious and generous portions

Great food and friendly staff! The chocolate cake with PB icing is the best. Everything tastes better than homemade. You can tell they are passionate about their establishment and it really shows in the quality of everything from the food to the services! The family and I were going to another place bc we never heard about this one and let me tell ya we are all happy the first choice was closed and google recommended this one!!!!

Lunches and dinners are great....breakfast not so good. Only place I know of that charges full price for a meal that I didn't eat. Sausage gravy was was ok, but real thin, not gravy consistancy, Toast was cold, homes fries were deep fried frozen potato cubes. Coffee was the only good thing.
Only an offer for more toast was offered.
Extremely disappointing.
