I think Fritz’s is awesome. Except for today. I took desert to dinner at my brothers house. One Apple pie one lemon meringue pie. The pie crust was not cooked , or it was not made correctly, it was like cake. This will not turn me away from Fritz’s cause shot happens, but this should not happen.
I’ve been a loyal customer of Fritz Bakery for years and have always loved their cakes. They are beautiful, delicious, and usually a highlight of our family gatherings. However, my most recent experience was disappointing, not because of the cake itself (which was great), but because of the way a problem was handled.

The cream cheese sticky buns were phenomenal. I bought a half dozen for a reasonable price, less than 12 dollars, which is less than 2 bucks a piece.
Side note, microwave them for 10 seconds, in a bowl, and then drizzle milk over the whole thing. Probably the wisest decision I've made this year.
I planned to share these, and it's over 12 hours later, I've eaten 4 and am jealously guarding the other 2.
