We have gotten food from here many times. Best West Indian food in Reading. Authentic the real deal. Not some fake American version.

I met the owners this weekend at river fest and had some coconut shrimp! Absolutely amazing! And the whole family was so personable. Would def recommend and I look forward to checking out their restaurant!!!

The photos about the place are misleading. This place moved and is now in a food court. The food was good but only one woman was working so the food took a long time to cook.

Amazing food and no shortage of it! The jerk chicken rice bowl mustve weighed a couple pounds and had tons of chicken and an unexpected chick pea/slaw salad that was super refreshing and delicious. Oxtail grilled cheese was fantastic too! Will definitely be trying more from the menu soon!

I’m going to have to agree with the other reviewer… the price point here isn’t appropriate. It wasn’t when they were in Bernville and it definitely isn’t for the inner city. A caramel cold brew with tax is $7.95. It was good, but I just can’t justify it. 😕 shave about 3 bucks off and then it’ll be competitive and maybe you’ll get a bunch of happy regulars.

My wife and I recently moved to Reading, PA, and we love exploring everything our new home has to offer. If you're in the mood for a delicious island-inspired breakfast, Pulse Cafe is a fantastic spot. **Important**: Finding it can be a bit tricky since it's located inside a food court that used to be a bank. When you enter, immediately look to your left where you'll see another dining area. Head towards that area, then make a right. Walk straight, and you can't miss it. The breakfast is fresh, and the service is excellent. We'll definitely be back!

Second time being here with my girl and we both love this place. The couple are so welcoming, they share their lives with us, the music is amazing & the waffle Sandwich is amazing!!! ????

Their new location is now closer to my place so I’ll be coming back more often now.

My favorite cafe place in all of Reading ???

Does anyone have the actual address for this place? There’s no way this is the correct address in Google maps ?️

Could not have a better local Cafe. The vibe here is great, food is awesome the coffee varieties are great and didn't forget the bubble tea. The owner is a delight and is very friendly. Stop on in and experience a great island vibe!

We love this new found gem. Jamaican vibe. Wonderful owner who makes tasty treats. Drinks are good. Try the pecan cheesecake.
