Samantha and her team worked magic with our wedding. We got married at an outdoor venue where Perfect Setting had never worked before and we had no end of challenging weather and plan changes. The whole team was endlessly professional and served the absolute best food I've ever tasted at a wedding. My biggest regret of my wedding is not eating more of that fantastic food! Samantha worked with us the whole way to plan our stations menu, work out our timeline, and even plan an amazing rehearsal dinner/welcome party at the same venue. She also kept our timeline on track when all details suddenly disappeared from my brain during the reception. Our guests gave so many compliments on the food and the great service. Thank you to Perfect Setting and especially to Samantha. I would highly recommend anyone on the fence just hire them! They also made a custom plan for us, not one of their standard package prices, so if you don't see a package you like, ask them! They were willing to be flexible to accommodate our budget and our vision.

She was SO responsive, and believe me when I say that I was constantly reaching out with questions. She never made me feel like a nuisance and always had an answer for me. On the actual wedding day, she was always right there ready to help with anything. Sara went above and beyond catering duties. She even put my slippers under my chair for me and RAN to get my bouquet so I could have them for the sparkler exit.The tasting was so much fun! It was in a private room with a personalized menu for your food choices. We brought both of our parents and it was a great time. They really wanted to know your thoughts, so don't be afraid to critique!The food was SO GOOD. Even though they had so many options to choose from, I told them of a roast chicken I had at a restaurant I loved and they asked for the restaurant information so they could recreate it!

I just had my wedding almost a month ago at Appleford. We only had 8 months to plan a wedding so we ended up choosing Perfect Setting Catering. Our point of contact was Sara. She seemed great and was easy to get in contact with via email so no problem with that. Here are the issues we had with them the day of our wedding.1. I emailed Sara 4 months before our wedding to change one of our hors d’oeuvres from Lemon Ricotta Toast to Mini crabs cakes. She says she can certainly do that. Come the wedding day. She served my husband and I all of the hors d’oeuvres without the crab cakes and I noticed there was Lemon Ricotta Toast that was not supposed to be in our menu so I asked her if there was crab cakes. She says yes but come to find out from my family the next day who helped me pick out the menu that there wasn’t. They even checked with the servers and they all said no there isn’t. I emailed Sara a few days about it that I did not appreciate her not telling me the truth. She replied with it’s perplexing to her about the crab cake issue and that she was under the impression the crab cakes were passed during the cocktail hour. She says she’s confused that some of my guests were not served because it was in the food sheet which obviously wasn’t served because there was none. I’m not disappointed that there wasn’t crab cakes but it’s the fact that she lied to me twice.2. They use Bredenbecks for the wedding cake which is already included in the package. We did the tasting which was fine but the day of the wedding. The cake looked pretty but it was dry as a desert. We did the cake cutting and when I ate it, it got stuck on the top of my mouth. I needed to have a drink to be able to swallow it. I know this isn’t their fault but I just want to warn other brides because they specifically work with this bakery. They also did not serve our guests the cake. They had to get it themselves. It was very embarrassing to my guest having to get their own cake that end up being dry anyway.3. Last but not least. One of our signature drinks was French 75. I don’t know where they get their bartenders from but the French 75 was not French 75. I tasted nothing but lemon juice from the bottle which was every more nastier.We understand mistakes happens but when you’re spending thousands of dollars on a very special event. This type of mistakes shouldn’t happen and I surely didn’t have time to micromanage what was going on or spend time trying to, since it was my wedding day. Sara says she was going to reach out with the owner of Bredenbeck’s and get back to me which she never did. Customer service goes a long way and owning up to your mistakes is one of them to do damage control.
