On a Saturday night on the first weekend in February, my girlfriend and I visited Apollo Grill for the first time — finally!
We were seated right away in an open format atmosphere with the best balance of light and dark. The bar across from us looked fantastic.
What we noticed right from the start is how well the staff works with and for each other to bring guests the best dining experience possible.
Maddie was our server. She was kind, professional, patient, and knowledgable about both food and drink on a grand scale. Her recommendations were stellar.
I had a refreshing gin and basil martini as well as their beef carpaccio, which was absolutely fantastic. My girlfriend started with their beef stew, which was thick and satisfying. It was so delicious, she almost canceled her entree to have more.
She went with the home cooking route and indulged in their meatloaf with green beans and mashed potatoes. Although she loved that as well, half had to come home with her, which made for an excellent lunch the next day.
I went with the raw of it all and got their spectacular tuna tartare with asparagus, radish, and rice. Usually, the tuna is cut into strips but this tremendous block of gorgeous fish knocked me out. Absolutely fantastic from presentation to flavor.
For dessert, we got their brownie with ice cream and this was all upper level in taste and texture. I would be shocked if their ice cream hadn't been made in-house.
We loved our first experience with Apollo and we look forward to our next visit, which is hopefully sooner than later.

Truly one of my favorites. I've never had a bad experience.
My wife and I went here and grabbed tapas. We tried three different ones, and they were all very good. I would recommend. Also if you are someone who wants to get a drink with your meal, theirs are on the strong side.

Apollo doesnt disappoint. For an apatizer I wanted to try something differnt and went with thr crab and avocado cocktail. This was absolutely delicious. For dinner I had the short rib entree. Everything about was great but the mash potatoes were on another level.
For dessert I had to try the pecan vanilla bean cheese cake which ended up being the perfect finish.

Awesome & popular place. The Chesapeake crab ,mac & cheese was delicious. Turkey & brie was average, but all around a great dining experience. Michele was on point, attentive & efficient. I'd highly recommend this place. Menu had plenty to pick from.

Delicious. We had a party of 8 and the service was timely with friendly staff. The limoncello spritz was tasty and refreshing. The crabcake was a good size and so good and the potatoes were great too and had bacon pieces which added a good taste. The lemon aoli was nice with everything on the plate. But the real star of the show was the garlic green beans. SO GOOOOD. Dont get me started on the french onion soup.. best ever. Kudos

MEDIOCRE FOOD NOT WORTH THE PRICE. ate food here last night on a date. date ordered the udon noodles with beef tips and i ordered the pan seared duck breast. the beef tips were cooked inconsistently. the flavor was alright. the duck was honestly one of the worst prepared ducks i ever have had. (usually any time i see duck on a menu, that's what i am getting.) the duck was TOUGH and hard to eat. the flavor of the risotto was ok, but a little bland. the asparagus could have been softer. just overall underwhelming eating this food.

We drove from Delaware Wednesday night to have Thanksgiving dinner with my daughter and granddaughter. Also we were celebrating my daughter's birthday on the 28th. Daniel was the greatest waiter ever. He engaged with us, cracked jokes and made us feel very welcoming. He was tentive to our needs. The drinks and food was amazing! Definitely worth the 3 hour drive. We will definitely visit there again when we are in the area. We hope Daniel and the rest of the wait staff have a Happy Thanksgiving!
