“Being a candidate for the James Beard award and then Covid hit. STILL, I compare most of my restaurant experiences to this food. Having eaten at a Michelin 3 star, this is top for and in the valley it is even better because it is by me. Thank you Bolete!”

“We had a wonderful experience! It was a learning experience as well. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and process of cooking at the table. It provided an opportunity for my teenage son and I to spend quality time over a meal with actual conversation. The service was excellent! All of the staff took very good care of us and answered any questions. We will definitely return!”

Apollo Grill 85 W Broad St, Bethlehem Bar & Grill • $$
85 W Broad St, Bethlehem

“Great lunch . French onion soup was tasty but cooked to death. Onions were nothing but mush. Croutons did not make it a better. Cheese was melted perfectly. Then the wedge salad with lettuce that was crisp blue cheese that was not overwhelming, cut Grape tomatoes too green and bacon that was just right. Iced tea and service was exceptional. I would return many times if I lived nearby.”

The Orchid Steakhouse 322 E 3rd St, Bethlehem Italian • $$$

“I tan next door and walked by this place for months and had been wanting to go here....so made a reservation. Did not check menu or pricing so fiance was a bit surprised at prices...oh well. BUT...it was soon good and he agreed. The steaks were perfect, and the loaded potato...the asparagus could be grilled a bit or something. I got the raspberry something cocktail and it was so good! I love the atmosphere. I would go in just for drinks. Also please note, the sides are enough for two to share. I would absolutely dine here again.”

blue grillhouse 4431 Easton Ave, Bethlehem Steak House • $$$
4431 Easton Ave, Bethlehem

“It was a nice place with top notch service. Our waitress was professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The food was good but nothing special or top tier. The citrus poached jumbo shrimp cocktail was solid. The shrimp fell below jumbo, but was relatively inexpensive per piece. The shrimp was well cleaned, served ice cold, and tasty. The seabass was well portioned and juicy with a pleasant flavor. Good, but nothing that stood out. The Prime NY Strip was okay. It was a little overcooked and under seasoned. It just lacked the flavor a prime steak should have. Overall, the restaurant is a little on the expensive side for the quality of the food. I would go back, but because of the service not because the food is a must have.”

“WOW!!!The way dinning should be done! A comfortable dining room with 11 tables. You need reservations, I’m positive that you can’t just walk-in.However the payoff is BEYOND WHAT YOU COULD IMAGINE!The lovely Hannah was our amazing server. She had extensive knowledge about the menu (Her personality was very warm). Best of the best!It is BYOB & the kitchen & staff move/work so efficiently! Bravo!Big point for me!! The ladies room says everything! When you see it you know “if the restroom is this nice…”Trust me and just do it, wait however long it takes for a reservation. The salads/apps/entrees were all perfectly spaced out & so delicious but not overbearing that you can’t eat what’s in front of you.”

“Great food. I don't usually like to do sushi this far from the ocean but decided to give this a shot. I am glad I did. Interesting specials, great tasting food, reasonably priced. It is a very small restaurant, kind of like the traditional spots you see in Japan. I am a big dude so I was brushed up against by anyone and everyone walking by. Next time I think I'll sit at the bar to avoid that.”

“I love this place. It is my go-to place after an amazing DeSales play/show. The staff are great. They seem to like their jobs. If you go here on a Saturday, there is also a magician who does illusions directly in front of you. The food is delicious. There is a huge variety of options, even for those who are a bit picky with their food. The French onion soup alone is worth going there to eat. My daughter and girlfriend said, don't forget to leave a note in the bathroom before you leave.Parking: There are three parking lots, which is great. It is very unique.Kid-friendliness: It is a great place for families to eat. My daughter loves their kid's menu. The menu is very affordable for families.”
