“I've been searching for the past year or more for a good traditional breakfast place.
I landed at Palmer Diner. From the intersection of 248 at the Palmer Park mall, it is hidden by gas station at the light.
The minute I walked in, I was shocked at how small and cozy with small bench seat individual seating areas as well as a small upfront counter with stool seating. I look around and the floor and it is the cleanest place you will visit.
Waitress is immediately attending to your requests and the food is really, really good. Even homemade potatoes the way it was always offered.
The linked sausage is truly unique in looks and great taste....like homemade.
Coffee is good and a small carafe left at table for refilling or topping off anytime you need.
Prices are so reasonable compared to other breakfast restaurants.
I would highly recommend a and don't be taken back or leave if you see the only 4-parking spots out front. Drive along the right side of building as you face it and find plenty more parking! You'll actually be behind the Jiffy Lube business. Owner is cook and this location been here longer than my age.
Great place for women as it is so clean, quaint and private feel in booths.

“My husband and I went for lunch last Friday. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette with home fries. The home fries were so hard and dry they were not edible (obviously left over from the breakfast crowd). Two hours later I had severe stomach cramps and diarrhea. Wednesday (5 days later which is incubation time for COVID) I tested positive. I will NEVER go there again!“

“My mom and step dad love this place. My son and I joined them the day after Christmas. Though they were quite busy the service was great, the waitress was super friendly and the food was fast and delicious! Our waitress was Beth B and she was so friendly, quick, accurate and anticipated our needs. My son said she read his mind assuring us our food would be done soon and when he accidentally spilled some syrup she brought us napkins she even brought a damp one for him. She was amazing! The food was delicious and a great price. To quote my son the food was “bussin bussin”. We also used the restroom which was a good size, it looked and smelled clean and was well stocked. “We have been City View Diner customers for many years. We have never been disappointed with our choices in the menu.
Save room for their many choices of desserts too.
We moved to Florida and miss the City View, but when we visit family, we make sure we choose City View as we did last week.“
