“We enjoyed a very good lunch a few days ago. I started with the miso soup which was a bit salty but had a great depth of flavor with ginger spiced tofu. I then had the crispy crab cakes which included hush puppies and a very generous portion of delicious French fries and an unexpected addition of mango chutney - delicious! My husband got the shrimp & grits, which even though it was delicious, it was a much smaller portion. (He ate a lot of mine, but keep that in mind if you're really hungry.) “OBT is a fun place. I'm so glad they re-opened. It's a great corner bar that has a charm all its own & a steady clientele ranging from college students to loyal regulars of all ages. Their bouncers & security keep control of the crowd & do not tolerate aggression. Bartenders are great & drinks are reasonable. Food is limited. Seating is at the bar, or there is a side room with tables. Entertainment includes pool tables, darts, TV's visible from everywhere, and jukebox-style music. Fancy? Heck no! “Addison was our very pleasant waitress. She did a great job with our order and checking on us without being annoying. I had a hot dog with chili and those fabulous sweet potato waffle fries. “There aren’t many places downtown with the great taste and consistency like Wafa’s. Omelets are fulfilling and made with fresh ingredients. I’m now a regular. On top on great food the staff is very friendly and always able to address any issues I’ve had. Their online ordering also makes it easy to order ahead, pay, then pickup without having to wait in line. I’ve also had their burgers and they are amazingly delicious but I don’t think many people know about them. Fries are crispy and good too. Give them a try!“

We decided to go with the pulled pork chips and they were nothing short than amazing.I am from Texas and I have had some great pulled pork before and the pulled pork on these chips were on par with what I have had in the past. ?My lady had read that they were better known for their artisan pizza however we just weren't that hungry.
