“Went to the speakeasy in the basement a few years back and tried their GARLIC DILL STEAMED CLAMS.. and they were so so tasty!! So tasty that we ordered takeout of only this dish the last time we were in town.I cannot even explain how tasty they are. You just need to try them for yourself!“
“Absolutely blown away by the food! Probably the best restaurant I’ve visited this far. The food was exceptional. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and the chocolate cake. They sat us right next to the water, which I loved! We had an amazing view of the sky turning pink as the sun set. Our waiter was also very sweet and ensured that we were taken care of.“

“If I could give 10 stars for each category I absolutely would. Ate here 3 out of 6 days we were on vacation. The BEST BBQ brisket/macaroni and cheese and greens you're gonna find on the East coast. Stop sleeping on Mad Apples. This place is amazing, the chefs are superb and the atmosphere is everything you want in a laid back vacation spot. Chef Shaina please come to Philly, we will appreciate you here.“
“I really enjoyed the service but, what I experienced was an awkward moment where the chef came from the kitchen and berated the bartender loudly and disrespectively. I was with my children. And they heard the chef loudly put down the bartender over specials.“
“We had a taste for oxtail and decided to see if our other spot was still in business. With our google search this came up. I decided to read the reviews. The person who comes from Allentown gave us the courage to try this spot. We were concerned that at 3:45 pm the oxtail would be gone. To our surprise they were well stocked and bustling. The food was excellent. We chose 2 xl orders of oxtails with various sides: cabbage, greens, plantains, rice and peas. Oddly enough the cabbage was a little crunchy, but boy was it tasty. This is our new spot. I think the value is good for the price. The pic below is the food before we crushed. The second pic is after we crushed the first meal.“

“My family and I come here so often for either drinks, a nice meal, or Karaoke, that the owner knows us all by first names. The staff is friendly, helpful, and personable. The establishment is clean, which says a lot these days when it comes to pubs. Even if they're is a issue with ANYTHING the staff will correct it.
