Stone Bar Inn Reviews
First time having dinner at the Stone Bar Inn. Our new favorite. The owner and chef can COOK .Outstanding meal .Overall the entire experience was fabulous. Can not wait to go back. No other restaurant will compare.
We had an enjoyable dinner with my wife, college roommate and his wife. The atmosphere was enjoyable, just enough noise with a great looking room. The service was outstanding, and the food was highly enjoyable. The French Onion Soup was delicious with a unique puff pastry topping. The house salad had a mixture of greens, blue cheese, cranberries, nuts & seeds with a mild vinaigrette dressing; overall it was fantastic. Finally, the entrees were varied, large and enjoyable. Stone Bar Inn is a hidden gem in the Poconos. The restaurant offers amazing service and delicious food, with everything on the menu being truly good. The atmosphere is inviting, with a wheelchair ramp providing easy accessibility. Thursday evenings feature live music, and reservations are recommended. The menu offers a range of options, including a generous Entrée salad with shrimp and pork belly. The French onion soup is highly recommended, featuring a unique puff pastry topping. The house salad includes greens, blue cheese, cranberries, nuts, and seeds with a mild vinaigrette dressing, making it a favorite for many. The crab cakes, with lump crab on the side, and the special pork chop are dishes that showcase a blend of unique flavor and traditional roots. The restaurant provides plenty of seating choices, from the quaint bar setting and open tables to booths in the back room and outdoor seating. Cocktails are served with a special side car, giving a two-for-one experience that adds to the enjoyment. The staff, including a highly praised server, take good care of guests, providing excellent service and sharing interesting history of the building. Many visitors have praised the quality of the food, especially the rack of lamb, which is considered perfect, and the crème brûlée to finish a meal. The service has been described as outstanding, with some calling it the best way to enjoy a meal. Overall, Stone Bar Inn offers a wonderful dining experience, with fresh, expertly prepared dishes, great cocktails, and a friendly atmosphere that makes it well worth the visit.
