After a long dreary Winter, my wife and I were in the mood to enjoy a lovely Spring evening with some ice cream. Since it was mid-week, there wasn't much of a crowd. The line was short, and everything was nicely organized. The salt caramel cone was delicious and a wonderful way to ring in the turn of the season!

Best ice cream in the Lehigh valley. Line is usually out the door and for good reason. The ice cream is amazing! Fortunately the service is quick and the line moves along smoothly. I've never had a bad experience. Has a classic ice cream shop feel and comfortable outdoor seating for the summer.

Fantastic ice cream… truly wonderful. The only real negative was once while waiting in line outside, suddenly it sounded like a riot was approaching us… super loud and nasty…. just turned out to be a bunch of teen-age negros doing what they do.

I had gone with a couple friends on a Friday night to celebrate one of my friend's concert performance. A friend of my ordered a traditional Banana Split, not knowing exactly what it contained as she is not a regular consumer of ice cream sundaes, so when she found that it had pineapple sauce on it, it was a disappointment as she is allergic to pineapple. While she was willing to suffer and eat around it, I assumed—knowing how simple Banana Splits are to make—they would be more than willing to figure something out with us.I told one of the stuff and offered to throw away the sundae so they would know we wouldn't eat it, but she had a grimacing look on her face and went to ask, I assume, a manager. They were standing in front of us and the woman shook her head no and the staff returned and said they would have to charge her again.I currently work for a local and popular ice cream shop in Allentown and this was such a frustrating experience as I know how our staff would have handled the situation, especially when the item is something similar like a Banana Split and not a shake. I would expect an immediate "Oh, sorry about that! You can throw it out and we'll make another." Because it's a very simple item to make and I offered to throw it out to show that we are not making an excuse for ourselves to get another.Overall, the experience was disappointing and it felt that the reason why they would not make another without charging again was because they were close to closing. As I mentioned, I work at a local ice cream shop and we offer a 15 minute grace period for our customers to enjoy their treat and time in our shop, without feeling rushed out. We also would not allow a customer to be exposed to an ingredient from our shop that could cause them an allergic reaction, especially if they reached back to us to ask for a change.Come to Allentown instead to support the small business ice cream shops that would never put our customer's at risk and provide a pleasant and safe experience with one-on-one interaction with staff!

I was visiting this past weekend from Vermont and I thought Bethlehem Dsiry Store was the worst ice-cream shop I have ever experienced..The young male server was incredibly rude. He made me feel stupid for asking questions. The sundaes we ordered were not good either. The ice-cream had a glue like consistency and very little flavor. I must say though that the one good thing was the nice sturdy pink spoons.I would recommend not visiting this store if you want a happy experience and good ice-cream.

The Bethlehem Dairy Store’s ice cream is the best of any other!!! Their service is unbeatable!Parking: Plenty of parking in the lot and on the streets around the store.Kid-friendliness: Kids are always welcome. They really enjoy their treats.
