Pierogies to die for, and that's coming from my Ukrainian wife! The gentleman behind the counter is from Syria, and when I've ordered shwarma it was as good as the ones I've had in the Middle East! Only complaint is when 3 parties got there and they started cooking the place got crazy hot

I only got the pastromi sandwich (takeout) , so take this review with a grain of salt. This was the only place in town open during Christmas day, or at least if seemed like it. The pastrami was definitely not worth $12. The owner seemed really kind and welcoming. The place feels cozy, but. A bit outdated. The sandwich was good, but I think the sandwich was sliced after it was wrapped in foil, so a bit of foil got into it. I probably won't go again, but I hope you give it a chance.

Food is AMAZING! The pierogies are simply the best I’ve ever tasted! I always place a double order & would eat more if I could. The Borscht reminds my Ukrainian friend of that which her Mom makes back in Ukraine. The deli is as if you’ve walked into Grandma’s house….definitely not fancy but feels like you are “home”. Recommend trying it!

Had halupki & halushki.👍🏻 Also had a sweet treat of walnut & caramel oreskie.(cookies) Delicious!

First time visit, I had the chicken salad with avocado and bacon sandwich. Best onion Pierogi with sour cream appetizer. We Ordered carry out of Olive oil herb Herring, Pickle soup, Red Beet and cabbage Borscht and German potato salad. Unfortunately the potatoes in the potatoe salad were not cooked soft the way I like it, Still tasty. Going back for the Pastrami sandwich and blueberry Kiffels.

It was my first time in since the original owners sold. The new owners are very nice and attentive. I ordered the borscht soup and the one of their new menu items, the shawarma sandwich. The food was good, but I was shocked when I got my bill of $25 dollars. I asked what the items costs and I was told the borscht was $12. When I explained the menu says $6 for a dine-in portion, I was told I was given the larger portion (a bowl as opposed to a cup). There is neither a large portion listed on the menu, nor was I given any kind of option when I was ordering. The fact $12 is overpriced for a bowl of vegetable soup aside, it felt very deceptive and unfair that I was upcharged without warning. $30, including tip, for a quick soup and sandwich deli lunch is quite steep. I hope they succeed, as I do all local businesses, but I hope they reconsider this practice going forward.

The food was great! Love the additions to the menu, but it's also great having the same items on the menu. The service was exceptional. Highly recommend, especially the Pelmini Soup as well as the garlic/cheese spread.
