Pierogies to die for, and that's coming from my Ukrainian wife! The gentleman behind the counter is from Syria, and when I've ordered shwarma it was as good as the ones I've had in the Middle East! Only complaint is when 3 parties got there and they started cooking the place got crazy hot
I only got the pastromi sandwich (takeout) , so take this review with a grain of salt. This was the only place in town open during Christmas day, or at least if seemed like it. The pastrami was definitely not worth $12. The owner seemed really kind and welcoming. The place feels cozy, but. A bit outdated. The sandwich was good, but I think the sandwich was sliced after it was wrapped in foil, so a bit of foil got into it. I probably won't go again, but I hope you give it...
Food is AMAZING! The pierogies are simply the best I’ve ever tasted! I always place a double order & would eat more if I could. The Borscht reminds my Ukrainian friend of that which her Mom makes back in Ukraine.
The deli is as if you’ve walked into Grandma’s house….definitely not fancy but feels like you are “home”. Recommend trying it!
