So first time at this venue . Let me start by saying - hospitality at black river farms is second to none and I mean none !!!! Wife and I were looking for something different to do with our Great Dane hella we stumbled upon this winery and I am sooo glad we did !! From the minute we walked on to their property they treated us like family. Was a warm day so they said bring the dog inside - everyone greeted us and hella like we knew them forever - was such a friendly atmosphere...
Amazing time! delicious wine and food and a beautiful setting. 3 stars because they use a truly appalling amount of single use plastic, plastic cups, silverware, even in the charcuterie board. And they can’t be recycled unless they are washed out, which they are not. Just switch to glass or cardboard cups and metal silverware please!
