“Welcoming atmosphere, good food, and great coffee!“

“Went to the Tap Room to celebrate my sister's birthday on 8/31. I didn't realize that a 1:30 pm (which I changed from 2:00 pm) reservation was for brunch only. I thought I was making a Sunday dinner reservation The staff was very accommodating and let us wait until 2:00 pm at our table. In the interim we had a glass of wine. There was a jazz band in the lobby for entertainment so the 30 minutes went by fast. The parking behind the hotel was under renovation, however, to accommodate guests, they shuttled to and from the alternate parking area. While waiting for my husband to park and shuttle back to the hotel , my sister and I shopped at the gift shop. To our surprise, they offered my sister a birthday dessert (gratis) after dinner. As always, it was a very pleasant experience. Our server was wonderful. The food, atmosphere and cost was exceptional. That is why they have been the #1 historic hotel in the US for 5 years in a row! They always get my vote.“

“Nice and quiet and the food was great. We couldn't even finish everything as we were quite full. The wait staff could use a refresh however on keeping things moving. We could have eaten a three course meal in the time it took between getting our starter and actually placing the order for our meals. Overall though it is worth the wait if you're not pressed for time.“

“I visited Sage Alley with my sister last night. It was a beautiful night and we sat outside. Our beer was great and the food was also delicious. The service was attentive and the owner even stopped by to say hi. We will definitely be back. Great beer, great food, friendly and welcoming environment!“
