has all the bells & looks of a real jamaican spot straight from yard but their food is a hit or miss. Although I nvr had a bad dish there, their food taste subpar w not much flavors & or spices. its not a 'succulent omg i have to go bk' sorta place, Id only return there if there were no other choices. Prices are affordable, I wouldnt recommend this place tho.

D & S Caribbean Kitchen is an absolute gem. The prices are great, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, and the hospitality is top-tier from the moment you walk in. The drinks and desserts hit the spot, and the portions are no joke — you definitely get your money’s worth.

And listen… the Jamaican patties are a straight 10/10. Flaky, flavorful, and easily some of the best around.

If you want real Caribbean flavor with good vibes and even better value, this is the spot. Highly recommend.

They came to Spanish festival in Easton they barely gave any meat it was all bones, the cabbage was disgusting I had to spit it out and I’ve always loved Jamaican cabbage, and the deserts they had out on the table had mold on them!, the lady took them all of the table once I pointed it out. Never would I eat their food or purchase again

Im just here to say as family & love ones travel out of town for funeral service and The mom who was grieving but yet still coordnating reached out to the cuisine resturant, the grieving mom paid for services for food to be provided and after the service as we proceeded for repass we learn no services were provided. The payee (greiving mom) travel to the store location and was greeteed with a sign closed and they were attending local festival food vendings events.
I just still cant belive this was the events that took place for a mom who loss her only daughter with a sudden death... & as a result of the miss-understanding; the owner gives the mom platters of old food{hard rice and salty food} that she didnt sale at the local festival. The audacitiy
That day was a nightmare and I still yearn for the grieving Mom, Just dissapointed from one carribean woman to another :-(

Very small portions, oxtail is mostly tips and a few VERY thin pieces. Not as flavorful as most others I've had or cook myself. Chicken dishes are good but again very small portions does not justify the prices. Very Nice people and service but outside if that I do not recommend.

On Aug.16th I attended the funeral of a dear friend’s daughter who passed unexpectedly. As we were going to the repass, we were told there was NO FOOD AVAILABLE . We were in disbelief Sophia would not show up with the many trays ordered. She knew family was traveling far from out of town. We immediately went to the restaurant and saw a sign closed YOU CAN FIND US At STEEL CITY.

By far the best Caribbean food I’ve had out here! I’m from NYC, and it’s tough to find places that even come close — but this spot nails it. The flavors were authentic, the portions were generous, and unlike other places, they actually include plantains with the cabbage — a total win! The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, and it was so easy to strike up a great conversation. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Perfect place to get a home cooked meal away from home! 🏠 Food is cooked with the kinda love Mary J. Blige was talkin’ about, it is a little pricey though. The owners always make me feel like I’m right at home by making sure I’m taking care of the minute I step through the door, and if they’re too busy to take care of me they’ll let me know. The service is impeccable, you won’t be disappointed I promise you!

I would be happy to post pictures except all I have remaining from my order are bones!!! This has got to be absolutely without a doubt the Best Jamaican food I’ve ever eaten!

I don’t give the compliment easily. I’ve traveled to well over 20 countries across Europe, South America and the South Pacific and eaten at some of the best restaurants worldwide. This quiet, unpretentious place in Bethlehem Pa deserves to mentioned with the best restaurants.

I’ve eaten Jamaican food for over 40 years and nothing has ever tasted better than this. The food is not greasy, undercooked or overcooked and has the most excellent flavor.

It never fails me that whenever I find a restaurant that I would frequent weekly, either they are in another country or I move somewhere else. Pittsburgh Pa is definitely not too far away so I will be back and hungry for more! DON’T CHANGE ANYTHING! IT’S ALREADY PERFECT!!!!
