We came in from out of state to have a surprise couples wedding shower for my son and future daughter in law in Fogelsville. The theme of the shower was Jamaica and scuba diving! D & S was the perfect centerpiece for the shower! We had 30 people there and EVERY person loved the food! I would not have changed a thing. They made it easy to order and pick up went smoothly. The food was exactly as we ordered and tasted better than we ever could have hoped for! We ordered all 4 main courses and 4 different side dishes, plus the sweet potato pudding for dessert. Everything was excellent and high quality. We had leftovers for the out of state guests for a couple of meals and it was just as good the next day! I would highly recommend this restaurant for a casual meal OR for catering!

We catered food from D&S for a wedding shower and it was AMAZING. We had a large order, they were extremely accommodating, quick, and dedicated. The food was all delicious. The chicken was so tender and flavorful. Every person at the party complimented the food.

I purchased a oxtail plate and a Jerk chicken plate the greens had way too much vinegar and the rice and peas were not good not enough peas! Lesson learned won't be visiting this place again......

In my opinion, D&S Caribbean Kitchen is the best Caribbean restaurant anywhere in the Pennsylvania & New Jersey area. I know that is saying a lot but here is why. Apart from the great traditional Island food that is prepared and served there, it is more than just a take-out place. It is appropriately a kitchen that is also a restaurant: home cooking with a a restaurant setting. D&S has a 4-table comfortably spaced seating area that views onto a pleasant residential community on West Union Blvd. The entire customer and eating area are exceptionally clean- tables & floor. The owners & staff are extremely pleasant, mindful of how their customers view them & the quality of the food they serve and occasionally engage their customers in pleasant conversations. This is not typical, unfortunately, in many restaurants serving this cuisine style. Cleanliness is not the only draw to this eatery. The food is outstandingly delicious! Whether it be Oxtails with Rice & Peas or the Jerk Chicken or Pork, Curry Goat or Shrimp, Rasta Pasta, Ackee and Salt Fish and much more, you will taste the authentic flavors of the beautiful Isle of Jamaica, as though you were there. And don’t forget ordering their homemade bread pudding. I have dined in the eating area, ordered take and ordered food for a large party. D&S happily are able to fulfill your Caribbean gastronomic appetite. My only critique - though delicious and spicy, I would love to see a bit more meat filling in their meat patties. More may be better, but then there is the rising cost of beef to consider.

If you like authentic Jamaican/Caribbean food, then you have to try D&S. Everything was amazingly delicious. The jerk was just spicy enough, the oxtail stew was tender and the meat pies were great. Plantains, collards, rice, and cabbage were all cooked perfectly. They were very friendly and didn't mind my oversized order. We will be back.
