We made a reservation 2 days before Valentines Day at the Edge in Bethlehem. We arrived at around 12:15 or so. Waitress seated us. We waited apx 5 minutes until a waitress showed up. Long story short it took apx 20 minutes before we got our food. I am 66 years old and the hamburger was the worst I have ever eaten. I only took 3 bites it tasted like shoe leather. My wife got the eggs and she only took 2 bites she said they had no flavor. I asked waitress for a box so I could take home the barely eaten food and give it to the wildlife. Our feral cat would not eat the burger but did take a few bites of the eggs. Eventually a very hungry possum ate the eggs but would not touch the burger. Oh I just noticed on my back porch camera a very hungry skunk just ate some of the burger. Well at least the food did not go to waste. Oh forgot to mention I did tip the waitress even though she did not give us any silverware or napkins. And she made faces when we asked for 2 boxes. We will never go back to Edge again. A year after reuniting here with my girlfriend, we both visited to celebrate our one-year anniversary.
The warm and welcoming restaurant, with one of the best looking bars around, creates an overwhelmingly comfortable environment.
Gordon, our server, took excellent care of us and was both professional and kind.
Our dinner was truly phenomenal. My girlfriend loved her chicken dish. My tuna tartare appetizer is one of the best I have ever had and my crab cakes were hearty and satisfying.
We followed up dinner and drinks with a tart dark chocolate raspberry cake and amazing cappuccino.
We cannot wait to return to Edge—and we will not wait for another year to pass!
Our latest venture in February 2026:
Edge has a fantastic and open decor, friendly and helpful staff, and great food and beverages. At times, the menu is a bit limited but still enjoyable.
This is another great establishment where you can relax and talk without being overwhelmed by loud music, so it's also a great stop for couples.
My girlfriend got grilled chicken on spring mix salad with pecans and mandarin oranges. She loved it. My short rib over risotto with broccolini was phenomenal. The rib truly melted. For dessert we had an incredible peanut butter and chocolate pie.
Our drinks were good but something seemed to be missing from each of them. I know my vodka martini had too much vermouth. Normally, the bartenders are spot on.
We will certainly return.

Edge Restaurant, located on West Broad Street in Bethlehem, is a New American restaurant with French and Asian influences. It's open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, and on Friday and Saturday until 9:30 PM.
I stopped in on Thursday night for an early dinner and had a great first experience, with friendly service and delicious, well-prepared food.
My friends and I started with the crispy dim sum (chicken), essentially crispy chicken dumplings, served with a sweet-spicy Thai chili sauce and savory soy sauce.
Next, we tried the crispy calamari, lightly crisp and tender, with medium-sized rings served alongside romaine and baby arugula, red pepper, ginger-sriracha dressing, and fried capers.
For my entrée I went with the Thai Chicken Curry, prepared with tender chicken, fingerling potatoes, cauliflower, scallions, cilantro, and red pepper in a rich, creamy coconut milk broth. The steamed jasmine rice soaked up the sauce beautifully, making this an entrée I absolutely loved.
My friend had the Farfalle Pasta, composed of roasted chicken breast, sautéed spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke, lemon beurre blanc, grana, and crispy prosciutto. It's not something I would ever order, but it looked great and she really liked it.
My other friend had sautéed Angus beef with sugar snap peas and hoisin jus, as well as the seasonal flatbread, which happened to be a spicy margarita. The beef was juicy, and the flatbread had a nice crisp to the crust. He enjoyed them both.
From the appetizers to the entrées, everything at Edge was wonderful. It's definitely a place I'd return to for both the food and the atmosphere.

The food was delicious; however, I thought $17 for a cocktail was a little bit expensive especially for the size of the drink )quite small for the price).
The only issue was that our server neglected to ask us about coffee. We also had to remind her to tell us what the seasonal flatbread and soup du jour were before we ordered.
Food was phenomenal! I got the short ribs and they were to die for! My wife took park of restaurant week and got the veggie rice bowl with shrimp. Clay was a great server, very friendly and personable. I did find it odd that the large party next to me was denied the restaurant week menu. They were a party of 10. Thought that was a little greedy of the chef. But otherwise everything great and I’ll be back.

I never finish my entire plate and I still have not. However the young lady next to me completely devoured her entire meal. The food and service were great. 10 out of 10 will devour again.

Ambiance and server were wonderful. Food was undesirable my daughter ordered crab cakes and they tasted processed out of the freezer. My other daughter ordered pasta and the chicken tasted fake. Was not the food that their sister restaurant SURV makes. Was very disappointed
This was a dining experience ! Every drop of dinner was delicious with a beautiful presentation . The flavors of everything were spot on . The staff was kind and welcoming . The ambiance was just perfect!

Went to Edge tonight January 17th 2026, and my husband and I sat at the bar. We had to alert the bartender to get our drinks, and later again to order our food. It was a busy night, but the 2 bartenders spent a lot of time chatting and joking with waiters and each other. I ordered spicy Ahi tuna, and the bartender forgot to order it spicy, so a separate spicy sauce had to be ordered. I then ordered the dish that on the menu described Cavatelli with mushrooms, spinach, sausage, and a butternut squash sauce. It took a long time and we had to ask if they had forgotten us. Then my dish came without mushrooms, without spinach, but a very bland and overly cooked/baked cheesy pasta dish. Not recommendable at all. We asked for the menu again, and pointed out the difference in my meal, and what the menu promised. A long tangled story about “ a set” being changed followed. I would not recommend this restaurant. They need to step it up.

Food is mediocre. Pasta dish with chicken. Sauce was thin, almost no chicken in the dish. Waiter was overwhelmed. Did not check on us a single time after we ordered. Could not order additional drinks. Had to go and get him to get our check after waiting in front of empty plates for 20 minutes.

Went for breakfast and the place was freezing cold. Had to wear our winter coats the entire time. Food was good but not going back due to the frigid atmosphere.
It was our first time at the Edge and my husband's birthday.
First impression of entering the restaurant was lovely. Decor and lighting was inviting and mysterious.
Our waitress Hailey was polite and pleasant to talk to. Her smile made me feel I was important to her.
The menu at first glance was different than other menus I was used to.
But I figured it out and asked if I could have a smaller size portion, Hailey made it happen.
From small dish to dessert the food was top notch. Everything was presented freshly cooked and the portions were a good size.
My husband and I cleaned every plate. Which for me doesn't ever happen.
Thank you for our first visit to Edge being #1 in my book.

The food was superb. But sadly the service was not what I expect in this price range. We waited almost ten minutes before our server came. She was very nice but slow. She also never came back to check on drink refills or whether our food was as ordered. I'd come back here again as the food was great. I hope the service we had was an anomaly.
